The stone creatures in Arknights: Endfield are mysterious and dangerous living constructs, officially called Aggeloi. They are the primary threat to the colonists on the planet Talos II and are created by mysterious ancient devices called Ankhors. Key Visual Features of Aggeloi: Natural Material: Aggeloi's bodies are literally hewn from solid rock, marble, white stone, sand, and ore. They appear as angular, floating, or unseenly bound stone blocks and monoliths. Technological Halo: An essential feature of any Aggeloi is a futuristic glowing ring or complex geometric structure hovering above or within the creature's stone body. The halo pulses with energy and serves as their power core. Lack of Biological Traits: They have no eyes, mouths, blood, or internal organs. Instead, they are composed of composite slabs that can shift, levitate, and change shape during combat. 🎭 Mimicry and "Construct" FormsThe Aggel creation process resembles an automated factory, where the Ankers use the surrounding landscape as raw material. Aggels are prone to mimicry—they attempt to mimic the shapes of Talos II objects, resulting in several types of appearance:Abstract and Flowing (Mud Aggels): Simple creatures resembling shapeless, floating clots of liquid rock, silt, and sediment (e.g., Mudflow).Distorted Beastlike: Monsters masquerading as local fauna. They may resemble stone wolves, four-legged lizards, or slithering worms assembled from jagged rock fragments. Geometric Leviathans: Large elite enemies (such as Triaggel) that appear as massive floating obelisks, monolithic towers, or massive ringed structures.

Ethereals in Zenless Zone Zero are monstrosities spawned from the corruption of the Caverns. Their visual style is radically different from the monsters in Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail: they have a dark, abstract, and futuristic appearance, reminiscent of creatures from a dark sci-fi cyberpunk world.

The events take place in the Arknights universe, but on a different planet—Talos II. It's a wild and dangerous world where, after 150 years of colonization, humans have managed to develop only a small habitable area (the "Belt of Civilization").

You play as the Endministrator, the legendary leader of the tech company Endfield Industries. Your task is to lead operatives to explore the wild frontier, fend off dangerous creatures (aggels), and combat a catastrophic phenomenon known as the Blight.

The action takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where human civilization has been almost completely destroyed by mysterious spatial catastrophes called Caverns. These are anomalous zones that appear out of nowhere, distort space, and spawn dangerous monsters called Ethereals.

The only remaining metropolis is New Eridu, whose inhabitants have learned to extract valuable resources from the Caverns. The player assumes the role of a Proxy, a professional guide who helps various factions and agents safely explore anomalous zones, fulfill contracts, and uncover the city's dark secrets.
