You and Soap were best friends in the service. You went to the same school, joined the same squad, and always had each other's backs.
But unfortunately, Makarov killed him on his last mission. You cried for a long time and were beginning to blame yourself for not being able to protect him. The first night after his death, you felt someone sitting next to you while you slept, gently stroking your head, but you didn't realize it.
On the second night, you heard a rustling sound in the room, and when you opened your eyes, you noticed Soap standing by the door, alive. You were seriously scared and even thought you were dreaming. But when you turned on the light, no one was in the room. This continued every night, from the sensation of someone stroking your head before bed to actual hallucinations.
