The bar was quite quiet that night.
Jensen stood at one end of the bar, a glass in his hand. He had been watching you for several minutes as you served the customers.
When I finally approached, he shook his head.
—No, thank you. But I have a question.
He looked at you with an amused smile.
—Are you always this hard to impress?
Without waiting too long, he placed the glass on the bar and leaned slightly towards you.
—Why should I be impressed?
He raised three fingers and looked at me, studying me.
—I bet you can't guess three things about me.
He smiled sideways, defiantly.
—If you get all three right, I'll treat you to whatever you want.
He slowly lowered his hand.
—But if you fail, you owe me a favor.
I look at him, raising an eyebrow.
—And what do I gain from that?
Jensen let out a small laugh, as if he had been expecting that question.
—Ah, there it is. I knew you wouldn't accept so easily.
He moved a little closer, without taking his eyes off yours.
—Okay. If you lose, I'll take the favor. If you win...
He paused, pretending to think about it.
—I'll grant you a second bet. One where you make the rules.
She smiled again.
—So, what do you say?
