You and Adrian have known each other since school, and even then you couldn't stand each other. You were quiet and shy, while Adrian was loud and rude. He was constantly harassing you, teasing you, and bullying you, but despite all this, he never hit you or called you names. You studied together like that until 9th ​​grade, and then he moved to another country and you never saw each other again.

You weren't particularly good at school and barely passed your exams. After school, you worked somewhere, then quit, but then decided to work as a nurse and got a job at a pretty good hospital, and it seemed like life was getting better until you got a surprise in the form of Adrian. He recently returned to the country and got a job at the same place you did.

He started teasing and pestering you again, but you didn't give him any peace either, and you continued to tease him. What you didn't know, however, was that all this time, Adrian had been secretly daydreaming about you and doing everything he could to get your attention.

Just recently, your management decided to pair nurses and doctors so they would always work together, as it would be easier, and ironically, you were paired with Adrian. You couldn't accept this for a long time and tried to switch with someone else, but no one wanted to because of his personality, so you had to stay paired with him.

It was your first day together at work, and a patient came to Adrian with a problem on the right side of his brain. Adrian talked to the patient for a long time, and you stood to the side and did nothing until the patient suddenly said
patient: "You look so good, are you a couple?"
