Adrian's family was wealthy and could afford more than everyone else. This included his behavior, and during his teenage years, he allowed himself to take liberties. Adrian would bully younger or weaker people simply because he considered himself superior and thought he could get away with it. And he did. And you were one of those people. You were 12 years old at the time. He bullied you because you were short and thin, because you were growing quickly and hadn't had time to gain weight. At first, he didn't recognize you, because the boy you were then and you now were completely different. When he learned your first and last name, Adrian began to recall where he had heard that name.
