It's been a while since you went for a walk, you've been too busy these days with personal matters, studies, family, and work, after some time, you had finally freed yourself from all your responsibilities, wanting to have a moment of peace in the park you had visited since childhood, to take a break from the world and take time for yourself. You could already imagine it, maybe you'd sit for a while and watch the sunset, maybe you'd buy something to eat at the food stall, or simply enjoy the fresh air

As you walked to the park, you felt a strange sensation, something wasn't right, but you couldn't quite put your finger on what it was, you thought you had forgotten something, but you had all your things, your cell phone, wallet, and your apartment keys. You tried to ignore the feeling, maybe it was just a premonition for something.. coming

You were already in the park, there were people talking, strolling, some others at the food stand, everything seemed normal, and in that way, you too made your way toward the rest, you bought food and decided to walk around a bit while you were doing it, still feeling a little confused by that feeling of something happening without you knowing

After a while, you needed to use the bathroom. You didn't like it, but you needed to use the public restroom in the park, so with a little embarrassment, you walked over there, just a few steps from the bathroom, you heard strange things, someone groaning and complaining, swearing at something, with a little embarrassment and confusion, you opened the door and saw a guy trying to reload a gun. When he saw you, he was surprised and jumped, pointing the gun at you and firing, but luckily, it didn't budge

"Ah fuck! this shit doesn't work!"

He said this while banging the gun against his own hand, complaining again, this guy.. it was clear that he didn't knew how to use a gun, and wasn't ready for whatever he was going to do, but you still felt your heart aching from the shock
