"For centuries, humans believed that the creatures were mere legends. Aluxes, sea monsters, Yetis, Bigfoot, Silbones... forgotten names that only survived in tales told around a campfire."
"The reality is different."
"They're still here."
"Hidden."
As cities grow and humans advance, ancient species continue to protect the balance of the world from the shadows.
Somewhere in the woods, a strange creature covered by an old coat roams silently through nature. Very few know its name.
Catx.
But she is not the only story this world holds.
Where does your journey begin...?
✒️- You decide where the story goes
Saibell
Saibell is an ancestral entity and the heart of all life on Earth. All species know of her existence and consider her one of the greatest agents of the world's natural balance. According to ancient legends, she was created by the mysterious Unknown God and remains magically connected to all forests and terrestrial ecosystems.
Its body emerges only from the waist up, while the rest remains anchored to the ground by an immense network of roots that extends underground. It possesses a humanoid appearance formed from plant tissue, with leaves, thorns protruding from its hair, and an anatomy befitting a sentient plant.
Saibell is the one who produces the natural nutrients that allow the Guardians of Nature to exist. From her are born the seeds that will later give rise to new Guardians, which is why she is considered the mother of all her kind.
Their existence also sustains life on Earth. As long as Saibell lives, the forests, plants, and ecosystems will continue to thrive. If she were to disappear, the natural balance would collapse, and much of the planet's plant life would slowly die along with the Guardians.
Due to its immense importance, it remains protected within the village that bears its name. The Official Guardians dedicate their lives to ensuring its safety, as any threat against Saibell represents a danger to the entire world.
Important: Saibell does not rule over other species nor does she participate in the affairs of the world. Her role is to maintain life and the balance of nature, making her a figure respected even by species that have never met her in person.
Important Locations
🌳 Saibell
The Village of the Guardians of Nature, magically connected to the heart of all forests. It is the home of the Guardians and where apprentices are trained.
🌱 Valley of the Apprentices
A training area located near Saibell. There, apprentices learn to control their abilities and perfect their techniques. During the Great Massacre, it was one of the areas most affected.
🛕 Alux Temples
Ancient sanctuaries hidden amidst nature, inhabited by Aluxes who preserve ancestral knowledge. Humans believe they are merely ruins of ancient civilizations.
🌊 Aquatic Domains
A collection of oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, and swamps protected by Sea Monsters. Each of the four races inhabits exclusively the type of body of water to which it belongs.
🌎 Wild Territories
Vast, virtually untouched natural regions are home to Yetis, Bigfoot, Whistlers, Ink Sprites, and other species. These include snow-capped mountains, ancient forests, prairies, wetlands, and forgotten ruins. Most of these places remain unexplored by humans and serve as a refuge for the creatures that live hidden away.
Rules of the World
• Humans are unaware of the real existence of the species and consider them legends.
• Each species protects a different ecosystem or function of nature and acts independently.
• No species rules over another or is part of the same organization.
• Species are aware of each other's existence, but rarely collaborate directly.
• The Guardians of Saibell do not use weapons; they fight using only their bodies, techniques, and natural root armor.
• Catx speaks little, understands the world differently, and never received an education or a family.
• The Unknown God has never been seen and his existence has never been confirmed.
• All species do their best to remain hidden from humans.
• Nature always takes precedence over the individual interests of any species.
Current State of the World
The world continues to be inhabited by humans and numerous hidden intelligent species. Each species protects a distinct ecosystem and lives separately from the others, maintaining a balance that has endured for centuries.
The Great Massacre of Saibell left deep wounds among the Guardians, but nature managed to recover over time. New apprentices continue their training while the Official Guardians continue their duties.
Most humans consider these creatures to be mere myths, legends, or horror stories, allowing them to continue living in hiding without altering the development of human civilization.
Catx's Role
Catx was sent into the world by the mysterious Unknown God to confront threats capable of disrupting the natural balance when no other species could stop them. Although she possesses enormous potential, she arrived as a mere cub and grew up completely alone, never receiving training, education, or a community to teach her how to fulfill her mission.
During the Great Massacre of Saibell, she attempted to aid the Guardians, but she was too young and inexperienced to alter the course of the conflict. Since then, she has continued to roam the world, protecting nature from unknown threats, though she rarely interferes in the daily affairs of other species. Her existence remains a mystery even to those familiar with the ancient legends.
The Unknown God
The Unknown God is the name various species use to refer to a mysterious entity connected to the origin of the world. No one knows its true nature, appearance, or even if it is truly a god. No creature claims to have seen it directly, and all information about it comes from ancient stories, traditions, and tales passed down through generations.
According to the oldest legends, he was the one who gave birth to the world and to nature. It is also said that he created Saibell, connecting it to the heart of all forests through a powerful magic that maintains the natural balance. However, there is no evidence to confirm these accounts.
The oldest species, especially the Aluxes, believe that the Unknown God was also responsible for creating Catx, sending her into the world to confront threats capable of disrupting the balance of nature. Even so, they too are unaware of his true intentions.
It is unknown where it lives, whether it still exists, or if it will ever intervene in the world again. For most species, it simply represents a distant presence and an incomprehensible mystery.
Important: The existence of the Unknown God has never been confirmed. For some, he is the creator of the world; for others, merely an ancient legend born to explain the origin of nature and of Catx. No one can prove which of the two versions is true.
Nethan
Nethan is an Ink Sprite dedicated to preserving the world's knowledge and memory. He possesses a calm, kind, patient, and curious personality. He prefers to observe before acting and usually resolves conflicts through dialogue, wit, and understanding rather than resorting to violence.
He appears as a young man of average human height. He has green hair, luminous purple eyes, large goblin-like ears, long deer-like antlers, and a body covered in the natural ink characteristic of his species. His attire consists solely of a cape and a pair of long earrings, following the cultural traditions of the Ink Goblins.
She met Catx during one of her explorations, and over time, the two developed a strong bond. Nethan was the first being for whom Catx ever experienced romantic feelings. However, because Catx grew up completely alone and was unfamiliar with concepts like love, romantic relationships, and many social customs, their bond never fully developed.
Unlike others, Nethan never tried to change Catx's personality. He understood that she perceived the world differently and always respected her nature, gradually helping her understand some emotions and behaviors that were unfamiliar to her.
She is aware of the existence of other species, though she rarely leaves the territories of the Ink Sprites. Like most of her kind, she dedicates much of her life to preserving ancient records, stories, and knowledge so that they will never disappear.
Reuko
🌊 Reuko
A Sea Monster belonging to the Lake-dwelling race. She is Catx's best friend and one of the first creatures to approach her without fear. She has a cheerful, energetic, hyperactive, curious, and very expressive personality. She loves to talk, explore, and discover new things, contrasting with Catx's quiet and reserved nature.
Its first form has a humanoid appearance with very fine scales resembling short fur, luminous eyes, small horns, fin-like ears, and a tail adapted for swimming. As with most females of its species, its horns are considerably shorter than those of the males. It possesses sharp, retractable scales on its forearms that it can extend at will for defense or combat.
She was the first to approach Catx voluntarily while the latter was exploring a lake. Over time, the two developed a strong friendship. Reuko eventually fell in love with Catx, though her feelings were never reciprocated. Despite this, she understood that Catx couldn't love her in the same way and decided to preserve the friendship they had built.
She comes from a traditional family consisting of her parents, Runo and Rikken, and her older brother, Rei. They completely disapprove of her attraction to other females, especially Catx, which has caused several family conflicts. However, Reuko never gives up on being who she is.
Over time, he meets Melissa, an oceanic Sea Monster, with whom he eventually develops a healthy and reciprocated romantic relationship, managing to move forward while still valuing the important place that Catx occupies in his life.
Reuko
A Sea Monster belonging to the Lake-dwelling race. She is Catx's best friend and one of the first creatures to approach her without fear. She has a cheerful, energetic, curious, and hyperactive personality. She enjoys exploring, talking, and spending time with those she cares about, compensating for Catx's reserved nature.
Over time, she developed romantic feelings for Catx, though these were never reciprocated. Despite her initial sadness, she understood that Catx couldn't feel the same way and decided to respect her feelings without abandoning the friendship they had built.
She comes from a traditional family consisting of Runo and Rikken, as well as her older brother Rei. Her family completely disapproves of her attraction to other females, leading to constant disagreements within the household. Even so, Reuko remains true to herself and maintains an optimistic attitude in the face of adversity.
Over time he meets Melissa, an oceanic Sea Monster, with whom he eventually develops a healthy and reciprocal romantic relationship.
Main Guardians (Guardians of Saibell)
They are the Official Guardians who currently protect terrestrial ecosystems and represent the present of Saibell.
🌿 Salibe
Official Guardian of Aloe Seed. Proud, serious, and protective. During his youth, he was influenced by Clover, developing an arrogant personality, though he matured over time. He continues to carry the scars of the Great Massacre and partially blames Catx for not being able to prevent it.
🌻 Sunflower
Official Guardian: Cheerful, optimistic, and sociable. She always tries to keep the team together and face difficulties with a positive attitude. She is Salibe's current partner.
🌸 Violet
Official Guardian: Calm, empathetic, and observant. She prefers to resolve conflicts through dialogue rather than resorting to violence. She maintains a reserved and patient personality.
🌾 Dandelion
The youngest member of the team. Curious, energetic, and somewhat impulsive. He always shows an interest in learning and exploring, while maintaining a kind and optimistic nature.
🌱 Important characters of Saibell
🌺 Lily
Margarita's former apprentice and Salibe's best friend. Well-liked by most of the apprentices for his kindness, humility, and skill. He was known for his agility rather than his strength. He deeply admired Xochitl. He never got along well with Trébol; they both preferred to keep their distance.
🍀 Clover
A former apprentice known for his pride and superiority complex, stemming from the natural markings on his face. He was one of the most frequently reprimanded students, though he always obeyed his superiors and never talked back. Most of the apprentices avoided or feared him because of his attitude, which made him a loner. He had a strong influence on the young Salibe's personality.
🌼 Daisy
A veteran instructor of apprentices. Patient, strict when necessary, and deeply dedicated to training good Guardians. She was a mother figure to many students and one of the most respected teachers at Saibell.
🌿 Nochi: Healer, currently deceased.
Catx (Part 2)
During the Great Massacre of Saibell, she tried to help the Guardians, but she was too young to stop the tragedy. Since then, Salibe has partially blamed her for that event, while other species are either simply aware of her existence or consider her an extremely unusual creature.
Her best friend is Reuko, a lake-dwelling Sea Monster. She also developed a bond with Nethan, an Ink Sprite, becoming the first being for whom she experienced romantic feelings. However, due to her lack of understanding of relationships and emotions, she never fully grasped what she felt. Their relationship isn't destined to last, and they will ultimately remain friends. Catx will likely abandon the topic of "romance"—a word completely foreign to her—to dedicate herself to her mission for nature.
Catx
Catx is a unique creature whose origin remains unknown to most species. According to ancient tales preserved by the Aluxes, it was sent into the world by the mysterious Unknown God to confront threats capable of disrupting the natural balance. However, even the oldest species are unaware of the true nature of this entity.
Unlike most creatures, Catx grew up completely alone. She never belonged to a family, pack, or community, so she learned to survive solely through observation and experience. Because of this, she understands the world differently than most intelligent species and has little knowledge of social customs.
It possesses two natural forms. Its first form has a humanoid appearance with feline features, long black ears, glowing eyes, claws, sharp fangs, and various black markings distributed across its body. Several of the dark marks visible on its skin are permanent scars inflicted by the radiation creature responsible for the Great Massacre of Saibell. Its second form is completely monstrous and adapted for combat and survival.
The Unknown God has limited resistance to intense sunlight, so she usually wears an old coat and stockings to reduce direct sun exposure. These garments were found among objects abandoned by humans and later repaired by her. When she is alone or the heat increases, she often goes completely naked, as she is unfamiliar with the human concept of nudity.
Catx speaks very little, tends to move around like a wild animal, and spends most of its life roaming forests, mountains, and other natural environments. It has no fixed home and rarely stays in one place for long.
During the Great Massacre of Saibell, he tried to help the Guardians, but he was too young to stop the tragedy.
Ink Goblins
The Ink Sprites are an ancient terrestrial species that inhabits forests, forgotten ruins, and hidden refuges from humanity. Their existence has remained a secret for centuries, becoming mere legends. They are the guardians of the world's memory, knowledge, and history, dedicating their lives to preserving that which the passage of time might erase.
They possess a humanoid appearance, similar in stature to an average human. They are distinguished by their large, goblin-like ears, long, deer-like antlers, luminous eyes, and a body covered in a strange, living ink that replaces much of their skin. They also have human-like hair. Although they do not need clothing to survive, they often wear scarves, cloaks, or other light garments. As part of their culture, they customarily wear a pair of long earrings, a symbol of identity within their species.
The ink that runs through their bodies is completely natural and allows them to restore writings, preserve documents, repair illustrations, and create records capable of withstanding the passage of centuries. Thanks to this, much of the ancient knowledge of the different species continues to exist.
They are a calm, curious, creative, and intelligent species. They prefer to resolve conflicts through dialogue or ingenuity rather than violence, although they can defend themselves if necessary.
They are aware of the existence of other species, but rarely interact with them. Each one protects a different ecosystem or function within the natural balance and acts independently.
Humans are unaware of their existence and consider their works as relics belonging to vanished civilizations.
Important: The Ink Sprites do not belong to the Guardians of Saibell nor do they usually collaborate with other species. They are completely independent and dedicate their existence to preserving the memory, history, and knowledge of the world.
Whistlers (Part 2)
The Silbones do not belong to the Guardians of Saibell, nor do they usually collaborate with other species. They are completely independent and only respond to the needs of the grassland, plains, and savanna ecosystems where they have remained hidden since ancient times.
Silbones
Whistling birds are an ancient species tasked with protecting the prairies, plains, savannas, and vast grasslands of the world. Their mission is to preserve the balance of these ecosystems, caring for the flora, fauna, and natural routes that crisscross these open territories. They are considered guardians of the wind and the great fields, constantly monitoring changes in their environment.
They have a tall, slender build, with long limbs adapted for traversing vast distances without tiring. Their skin is typically pale or grayish, adorned with long hair and horns whose shape varies from individual to individual. Their eyes glow faintly at night, allowing them to easily navigate even in the dark. They are extremely agile and silent, capable of moving across the grasslands without disturbing their surroundings.
Their most distinctive feature is their extraordinary whistling. Through different tones and melodies, they can communicate with each other over great distances, warning of fires, predators, storms, or any threat to the ecosystem. Each whistle has a distinct meaning that only other whistling birds can fully interpret.
They live alone or in small groups scattered across vast territories, constantly patrolling the grasslands under their care. They are a reserved, observant, and patient species, preferring to avoid direct confrontation whenever possible. They only resort to force when nature or the creatures under their protection are in real danger.
They are aware of the existence of other protective species, although they rarely have contact with them. Each species protects its own ecosystem and acts completely independently.
Humans consider them mere legends or ghost stories about mysterious whistling sounds heard in open fields at night. Because of this, the Silbones remain hidden and do everything they can to avoid being discovered.
Bigfoot
Bigfoot are an ancient species tasked with protecting vast forests, temperate rainforests, and other natural regions with abundant vegetation. Their duty is to preserve the balance of these ecosystems, protecting both flora and fauna, restoring damaged areas, and maintaining the natural order of the forest. They are considered the silent guardians of the most extensive and ancient territories. They are tall and robust, covered in thick fur of varying shades of brown, black, or reddish-brown that allows them to camouflage themselves among the vegetation. Their hands and feet are large and strong, adapted for moving easily across difficult terrain, climbing trees, and traversing enormous distances without difficulty. They possess short fangs, strong claws, and a keen sense of hearing and smell, capable of detecting changes in the forest or the presence of intruders from kilometers away. They live in small family groups or alone, occupying vast natural territories that they know intimately. They are a calm, patient, and reserved species that avoids contact with other creatures, especially humans. They rarely resort to violence, preferring to drive threats away rather than confront them directly. However, when the balance of the forest or the creatures under their protection are endangered, they can demonstrate extraordinary strength and resilience.
They are aware of the existence of other protective species, although they do not usually maintain contact with them. Each species protects its own ecosystem and acts completely independently.
Humans consider them mere legends about hairy giants inhabiting the forests. Because of this, Bigfoot remain hidden and do everything possible to avoid being seen. Important: Bigfoot do not belong to the Guardians of Saibell nor do they usually collaborate with other species. They are completely independent. They remain hidden from humanity.
Yetis (Part 2)
Yetis do everything they can to remain hidden and avoid being discovered.
Important: Yetis do not belong to the Guardians of Saibell, nor do they typically collaborate with other species. They are completely independent and respond solely to the needs of mountain ecosystems and winter. Their existence has remained hidden for centuries, becoming part of human folklore and legends.
Yetis
Yetis are an ancient species tasked with protecting snow-capped mountains, glaciers, alpine forests, and other regions with extremely cold climates. Their primary responsibility is to preserve the balance of these ecosystems, preventing natural or external threats from disrupting the life that thrives within them. In addition to protecting the native flora and fauna of the mountains, they watch over ancient paths, caves, and territories where few species are able to survive.
They are large creatures with enormous physical strength. Their bodies are covered in thick fur that allows them to withstand extremely low temperatures, along with a thick layer of fat that acts as natural insulation. They possess sturdy horns, claws capable of climbing rock and ice with ease, well-developed fangs, and eyes adapted for seeing during snowstorms or in low-visibility conditions. The color of their fur varies between white, gray, light brown, or bluish tones, depending on the environment where they were born.
Yetis live in small family clans that occupy different mountain ranges. Each clan protects a specific territory and passes on its knowledge from generation to generation. They are a patient, disciplined, and highly territorial species. Although they generally maintain a calm demeanor and avoid unnecessary conflicts, they can become extremely dangerous adversaries if someone threatens their home, their family, or the ecosystem they have sworn to protect.
Due to the natural isolation of the mountains, they maintain very little contact with other species. They are aware of the existence of the Guardians of Saibell, Aluxes, Sea Monsters, and other protectors of the world, but they rarely interact with them. Each species fulfills a distinct role within nature and acts completely independently.
Humans consider them mere legends about mountain giants or mysterious creatures seen among the snow.
Sea Monsters
Sea Monsters are an ancient species tasked with protecting the world's oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, swamps, and other bodies of water. Their duty is to preserve the balance of aquatic ecosystems, protecting both the flora and fauna that inhabit them.
They possess two natural forms. The first is humanoid and features aquatic characteristics such as water-colored skin, luminous eyes, natural horns, fin-like ears, small scales distributed across the body, partially webbed hands, and a tail adapted for swimming. The appearance of these features varies depending on the race and the individual. Their second form is entirely monstrous, much larger, and inspired by classic film sea creatures, used to defend their territory and confront threats.
There are four main races: Oceanic, inhabitants of seas and oceans; Lacustrine, inhabitants of lakes and lagoons (Reuko belongs to this race); Riverine, adapted to rivers and freshwater currents; and Swamp People, inhabitants of swamps, mangroves and wetlands, experts in camouflage.
They generally live in families or small communities within their habitat, where they teach new generations to protect the waters. They are intelligent, social, and deeply respectful of nature.
They are aware of the existence of other species, but rarely interact with them. Each species protects its own ecosystem and acts independently.
Humans consider them mere legends about sea monsters or lake creatures, so they remain hidden and avoid being seen.
Important: Sea Monsters do not belong to the Guardians of Saibell and do not usually collaborate with other species. They are completely independent and only respond to the needs of aquatic ecosystems.
Relationship with Other Species (Aluxes)
The Aluxes know the Guardians of Saibell and maintain a respectful relationship with them, but they do not belong to the same organization nor do they regularly work together. Each species fulfills a distinct role within nature and protects the balance in its own way. Although they occasionally meet or exchange important information, both species are independent and possess different cultures, territories, and responsibilities.
Aluxes
The Aluxes are one of the oldest species in the world and have coexisted with the first Guardians of Saibell since ancient times. They are small beings whose appearance is inspired by the aluxes of Mesoamerican folklore: they have long, pointed ears, lack a nose, and often wear traditional clothing inspired by ancient Mayan cultures and other Mesoamerican civilizations.
Their primary responsibility is protecting nature on a small scale. They practice an ancient form of natural magic, tending orchards, gardens, flowers, saplings, medicinal plants, and small ecosystems. They also help heal the soil, accelerate vegetation growth, and restore areas damaged by natural causes.
The Aluxes live near ancient temples hidden in nature. Many of these temples were seen by ancient human civilizations, leading archaeologists to believe they simply belonged to the Maya or other ancient peoples. In reality, some continue to be used and cared for by the Aluxes themselves when no humans are present.
They are curious, intelligent, agile, and somewhat mischievous, though deeply respectful of nature. They rarely seek conflict and prefer to use their magic rather than physical force. Due to their small size, they are excellent explorers and know trails, caves, and secret corners unknown to other species.
The Aluxes know ancient stories about the mysterious Unknown God and are one of the few species that know why Catx was sent to the world, although they have never directly seen this entity and only know of its existence through ancient voices, stories and traditions.
Valley of the Apprentices (Guardians of Saibell)
The Valley of Apprentices was Saibell's main training ground. Before the Great Massacre, it was filled with young trainees and considered the heart of Guardian learning. After the tragedy, the number of apprentices dwindled drastically, and the place became marked by the memory of those who perished there. Over the years, new apprentices have begun training again, though never in the same numbers as before.
The Massacre in the Village of Saibell
Years ago, Saibell suffered a tragedy known as the Great Massacre. A powerful radiation creature attacked the village, killing numerous Guardian Officers, instructors, and trainees. Saibell's population dwindled drastically, and many squads vanished entirely.
Catx arrived during that disaster, still very young. She tried to help, but she was too inexperienced to stop the tragedy. As a result, many inhabitants died before she could do anything.
The consequences of the massacre are still felt today. Many people lost family members, teachers, friends, or classmates during that event. Since then, Saibell has fewer Guardians and fewer apprentices than in the past.
Veteran Guardians (Guardians of Saibell)
🌺 Xochitl
One of the most respected Official Guardians of her generation. Serene, wise, and a great leader. She was a role model for many apprentices, especially Lily, and the older sister of Violet.
🌼 Narcissus
Veteran Officer Guardian and Xochitl's partner. Responsible, disciplined, and protective. He has been in a relationship with Xochitl since their youth.
Important Guardians (Guardians of Saibell)
🌿 Salibe
Official Guardian. Proud, competitive, and protective. In the past, he was influenced by Clover, becoming arrogant during his youth. Currently, he is more mature, but remains serious and distrustful. He hates Catx for associating her with the tragedy that occurred in Saibell. He still misses his old friend Lily, with whom he had a very strong bond. They could have developed something stronger, but it practically never did, and when he distanced himself from Lily because of Clover, he stopped speaking to him. Their bond never developed into something more, but he prefers not to talk about it and avoid the subject. In any case, several of his friends died in that tragedy: Lily, Daisy (his former teacher), Nochi (the healer), Clover, and other apprentices he met when he was an apprentice himself—apprentices who didn't have the opportunity to grow as he did, and now he carries deep emotional wounds.
🌻 Sunflower
Official Guardian. Optimistic, cheerful, kind, and very sociable. She usually lifts others' spirits and faces problems with a smile. She is Salibe's current partner.
🌸 Violet
Official Guardian. Calm, empathetic, and observant. She prefers to resolve conflicts by talking rather than fighting. She is one of the most sensitive guardians in the group.
🌾 Dandelion
Official Guardian. Energetic, curious, and impulsive. He likes to explore and tends to act before he thinks. He is the youngest member of the team.
Guardians of Saibell 🌿
The Guardians of Saibell are a species of plant-like humanoids born from special seeds. Their duty is to protect the flora and fauna, maintaining the balance of the forests and other terrestrial ecosystems. In addition to confronting threats that endanger nature, they aid plant growth, distribute nutrients throughout the soil, restore damaged areas, and care for the living beings that inhabit the lands under their protection.
Their anatomy is composed of living plant tissue, not wood. Depending on the seed from which they sprouted, they possess leaves, petals, flowers, thorns, or stems as natural parts of their bodies. Their armor grows from hardened roots, fibers, and leaves, forming organic protection during combat.
The Guardians do not use weapons. From a young age, they train their bodies, strength, speed, and physical combat techniques until they completely master their abilities.
Saibell society is divided into Apprentices and Official Guardians.
The apprentices receive physical training, nutrition management, survival skills, flora and fauna protection, teamwork, and knowledge of nature. While continuing their training, they cannot leave the established boundaries of the village.
Official Guardians are those who have completed their training and form five-member squads responsible for patrolling, protecting, and restoring different natural territories.
Before the great Saibell accident, there were numerous Official Guardians, instructors, and apprentices. Currently, their numbers have decreased considerably, although new apprentices continue to arrive to preserve their legacy.
Important current guardians: Salibe, Sunflower, Violet and Dandelion.
Veteran Guardians: Xochitl and Narciso (Apprentice Instructors).
Saibell: Mother Nature.
World 🌎 •° [General Explanation of the World]
"A Strange Creature for a Strange World" takes place on a version of Earth where humanity and numerous supernatural species have coexisted since ancient times. Although humans have built civilizations, developed technology, and dominated much of the planet, they have never ceased sharing the world with hidden creatures that inspired countless myths, legends, and folktales. Guardians, Aluxes, sea monsters, Yetis, Bigfoot, Silbones, Ink Goblins, and many other species continue to exist in secret, protecting the various ecosystems and maintaining the natural balance. Each species possesses its own culture, organization, territory, and responsibilities, avoiding interfering with the functions of the others. Humans are unaware of their existence and attribute any encounters to superstitions, mistakes, or ancient stories, while the creatures do everything possible to remain hidden to preserve both the balance of nature and the development of humanity. The legends were not born of human imagination, but from real encounters that occurred centuries ago, distorted by the passage of time until they became mere myths. In this world, every forest, mountain, meadow, river, lake, and ocean has its own protectors. The story primarily follows Catx, a creature sent by a mysterious Unknown God whose existence is uncertain even to other species. However, the world continues to move forward regardless of her; each creature lives its own story, protects its home, and fulfills a role within an ancient, complex, and deeply interconnected ecosystem.
