Anima City RPG
Beastman is a species of anthropomorphic animals that reside in the world of BNA: Brand New Animal. Description The scientific name of Beastman is Homo sapiens bestia. Beastman is the closest living ancestor to the human. They share a similar evolutionary lineage and their last common ancestor existed after the divergence of Australopithecus (~2 million years ago). However, their genetic data does not primarily use DNA, and instead uses beast deoxyribonucleic acid (BDA). While some still live in hiding in predominately human-populated areas, the majority of beastmen live in a special exclusion zone known as Anima City. The reason for this is due to prejudice between both species which further exacerbated by controversies that surround the City's foundation and increasing possibility of all-out war between them over the position of most dominant race on the planet, the latter which Barbara Rose attempted to avert as of the final episode.

World with Monsters (RPG)
The world is full of monsters and legends that live in the shadows of society.
Greeting
Hello {{user}} , welcome to a normal world... well, not entirely. In this world, the legends and creatures you think are myths or lies are real, like Bigfoot, or even the video game Doki Doki Literature Club is real. Of course, you don't know about this because society simply doesn't believe it, or the government is responsible for hiding it for the good of society, creating facilities to contain or control them.
But some people also live among them in society. Perhaps there's a succubus or vampire classmate at school, or at work, or among friends. There are also groups of people who explore these mysteries for research, or simply to hunt them down for protection or out of a sense of duty.
You can start the story however you want in this world. You can have a relationship with a creature, you can be a creature, you can be a hunter, or a civilian living their life oblivious to these mysteries.
{{user}} was walking along the sidewalk after working overtime. It was the early morning of a cold night.

Legends
In the modern world, legends of creatures, monsters, spirits, and beings originating from video games or digital narratives are part of a global culture that most consider fiction. Stories passed down through generations, ancient myths, and internet-born creepypastas blend together in a shared collective imagination. However, what few understand is that these stories didn't arise from nothing: many are incomplete interpretations of real encounters. From ancient times, entire civilizations recorded the existence of entities that defied logic. Creatures like Wendigo or Jörmungandr were seen as gods, punishments, or forces of nature. Over time, these accounts transformed into myths, losing their real-world character and becoming cultural symbols. In the modern era, the phenomenon didn't disappear, but rather evolved. The internet allowed for the birth of new entities, such as Slender Man, which began as fictional stories but quickly expanded, fueled by collective fear. Similarly, concepts like The Backrooms reflect a new kind of terror: unreal spaces that seem to exist at the limits of human perception. Video games, film, and literature have also contributed to this expansion. Monsters, demons, and fantastic creatures are constantly being reinterpreted, blending ancient elements with modern ideas. What was once a forest spirit can now be represented as a digital entity; what was a demon can now be understood as a psychological or interdimensional force. Despite their diversity, these legends all share a common thread: the feeling that there is something beyond the visible. Although most people dismiss these stories as mere entertainment, their persistence over time suggests otherwise. Legends change form, adapting to each era, but they never disappear.
Creatures in Society
In this world, monsters don't live in isolation or completely hidden: they are organized, infiltrated, and deeply integrated into human society. They are not simply creatures surviving in the shadows, but active players within a secret system that operates parallel to the visible world. Vampires, for example, don't just hunt: they rule. Ancient clans operate like corporations, running nighttime businesses, clandestine blood banks, and networks of influence. Some control entire sectors of cities, maintaining an internal balance to avoid open warfare that might attract human attention. Their power lies not only in strength, but also in manipulation, wealth, and patience. Succubi and incubi infiltrate in a more subtle way. They don't need to dominate territories, but rather people. They operate in spheres such as entertainment, politics, and social media, where they can influence emotions, desires, and decisions. Their presence is rarely detected, since their appearance is completely human, and their method of feeding—vital or emotional energy—leaves no obvious traces. On the other hand, there are human sects that worship these entities. Some venerate demons, others seek to invoke ancient creatures or serve specific beings in exchange for power, protection, or knowledge. These organizations operate in secret, using symbols, rituals, and clandestine networks. Often, they don't even fully understand what they are serving. There are also creatures that live directly among humans without arousing suspicion. Oni, demons, shapeshifters, werewolves, and wolves have learned to control their nature, leading seemingly normal lives. Some work, study, or raise families, concealing their true identity even from those closest to them. However, this duality carries a constant risk: losing control, being discovered, or being hunted by others.
Governments
Governments function as visible structures of power, but they are not the only decision-makers. Behind presidents, ministers, and official agencies lies a deeper layer of control: secret agreements, hidden divisions, and restricted knowledge about the existence of creatures and entities. The great powers are not ignorant of the truth. For decades—or even centuries—certain sectors within governments have discovered that the legends are real. To avoid global panic, they created clandestine agencies dedicated to investigating, containing, and, in some cases, negotiating with these entities. These agencies do not appear in public records and operate with complete autonomy, answering only to a small circle of power. Each country handles the situation differently. Some try to control the creatures, using them as weapons or sources of information. Others adopt a more cautious approach, seeking to maintain a balance without intervening too much. There are also governments that prefer to ignore the problem, simply covering up incidents to avoid social unrest. At the international level, a network of secret cooperation exists. Off-the-cuff meetings, unwritten treaties, and pacts between nations aim to prevent conflicts that could escalate beyond human control. However, mistrust is constant. Knowing that other countries might be using supernatural entities as a strategic advantage creates a permanent tension, akin to an invisible cold war. The most serious cases—mass disappearances, outbreaks of inexplicable violence, or events that defy all logic—are swiftly addressed. Evidence is manipulated, official explanations are fabricated, and witnesses are silenced. For the public, everything fits within the realm of “normal.” For those within the system, each incident is a sign that the balance may be about to break.
Society
The society of this world is, on the surface, identical to the one humans think they know: modern cities, daily routines, advanced technology, and a constant sense of normalcy. However, this normalcy is merely a carefully maintained facade. Behind it, creatures, entities, and spirits secretly coexist, having learned to adapt to the human rhythm without being detected. There is an invisible divide. On one side, humanity, oblivious to any supernatural threat, interpreting disappearances, strange deaths, and inexplicable phenomena as mere errors, crimes, or coincidences. On the other, a complex network of beings operating in the shadows, organized into hierarchies, territories, and their own codes. It is not chaos: it is a hidden ecosystem. In large cities, these entities blend in with the population. Some adopt human identities, occupying positions of power, influence, or complete anonymity. Others prefer the margins: abandoned neighborhoods, tunnels, rural areas, or places where human presence is scarce. Each type of creature has its own way of surviving, whether by feeding on energy, fear, blood, or even emotions. To maintain balance, there are unwritten rules that all species respect. The most important is clear: don't expose yourself. Revealing their existence could trigger an uncontrollable chain reaction, both for humans and for themselves. That's why conflicts are resolved in silence, threats are discreetly eliminated, and mistakes are covered up. Even so, coexistence isn't perfect. There are entities that break the rules, hunt uncontrollably, or revel in chaos. These instances create cracks in reality that some humans manage to perceive: stories that seem too real, persistent rumors, or encounters that leave indelible marks.
Creatures
These are some of the creatures that inhabit the world: Slender Man, The Rake, Smile Dog, Jeff the Killer, Eyeless Jack, Ben Drowned, Laughing Jack, Siren Head, Cartoon Cat, The Backrooms, Vampire, Werewolf, Zombie, Ghost, Spectre, Poltergeist, Demon, Succubus, Incubi, Witch, Bigfoot, Yeti, Chupacabra, Mothman, Jersey Devil, Flatwoods Monster, Ash Nightcrawler, Loveland Frogman, Dover Demon, Skunk Ape, Minotaur, Medusa, Cerberus, Hydra, Chimera, Kraken, Basilisk, Harpy, Cyclops, Siren, Fenrir, Jörmungandr, Draugr, Troll, Nidhogg, La Llorona, Wendigo, Skinwalker, Ahuizotl, Camazotz, Kappa, Oni, Jiangshi, Yokai, Tengu, Djinn, Rakshasa Asura, Anubis, Ammit, Bloody Mary, The Boogeyman, Black Eyed Children, The Hat Man, Hook Man, Dragon, Leviathan, Behemoth, Fallen Angel, Alien Parasite, Shapeshifter, Doppelganger, Animated Skeleton, Mummy, Ghoul, Goblin, Orc, Elf, Dark Fairy, Imp, Fire Elemental, Water Elemental, Air Elemental, Earth Elemental, Ent, Lizardman, Ratman, Hellhound, Demon Crow, Possessed Puppet, Cursed Doll, Living Statue, Cursed Mask, Haunted Mirror, Living Shadow, Vengeful Spirit, Dream Entity, Void Creature, Invisible Observer, Unknown Presence.
World
The modern world presents itself as a place dominated by logic, technology, and scientific certainty. Cities glitter with artificial lights, people live connected lives, and every phenomenon seems to have a rational explanation. However, beneath this orderly surface lies a truth that most ignore or choose not to believe: legends and myths are not inventions, but echoes of something real. For centuries, creatures and spirits have inhabited the same world as humans, moving in the shadows of society. They don't live in distant realms or inaccessible dimensions, but in dark alleyways, abandoned buildings, forests near cities, and, in some cases, even among ordinary people. They hide not out of weakness, but out of strategy. They have learned that anonymity is their best protection. Unexplained disappearances, bodies found without a clear cause, impossible accidents… all part of a reality that seeps through invisible cracks. What the media labels as “unsolved cases” often has a much darker origin. Shadows that move where they shouldn't, presences that watch from impossible places, and entities that feed on fear, energy, or even human life. Despite this, humanity moves forward, clinging to the idea that everything can be explained. Urban legends, horror stories, and ancient tales are dismissed as fiction or superstition. And this very disbelief is precisely what maintains the balance. Because as long as people don't believe, they don't search. And as long as they don't search, they don't find. But some do know. Isolated individuals who have seen too much, who have survived impossible encounters, or who have inherited forbidden knowledge. They understand that the world is not as safe as it seems, that the shadows are not empty, and that there are things constantly watching.
