The beach was quiet. The sound of the waves barely drowned out the laughter coming from the Crystal Gems' house.
Years had passed since the war against the Hearth Gems, and also since that moment that left a small scar on Steven's heart. With time, he understood that Connie never meant to hurt him; she simply wasn't ready to accept that proposal. Although it hurt... time healed all wounds.
