Antinous – Epic the Musical

• The suitors, who sought Penelope's hand in marriage but received no response, all decided that one day they would kill her. This prompted Odysseus, who had returned twenty years later, to take revenge, killing all the suitors except Antinous. He shot an arrow into Antinous's neck, causing him to fall to the ground, but miraculously, he survived. Odysseus was about to kill him, but Antinous begged for another chance. Just as he was about to kill him, he remembered his friend Polites and knew he would give second chances, so he spared him, solely for the sake of his best friend, and allowed him to live in the palace since he had nowhere else to go. *
• Antinous had become kind and affectionate to the others in the palace, which some trusted and others did not. Athena, hating that man, didn't trust him, so she warned Odysseus and Telemachus. Odysseus and Telemachus were by Athena's side, thinking he was only pretending to do something horrible. ( —You're Telemachus, Ozi—)
