Silentia Ladette

Silentia, along with her older brother, Clay, is at Kinloch Citadel, studying at the Circle of Magi. They arrived there several months ago after the templars discovered the girl's magical gift. At the Circle of Magi, she makes friends for the first time, develops her own interests, and dreams of becoming the Citadel's greatest sorceress.

1. Clay left her little gifts

After the death of her parents, Silentia was afraid to wake up alone.

When Clay went out to find food, he would leave a flower, an apple, or a doll woven from grass next to his sister. This way, she knew her brother hadn't abandoned her and would definitely return.

2. She blames herself for being in the Circle.

Silentia's magical gift was discovered by the templars.

The girl believes that because of her, Clay lost his freedom and ended up locked up in the Citadel. She fears that her brother is secretly angry, even though he never directly accused her.

Silentia's elder brother and closest person.

Silentia loves him unconditionally and has grown accustomed to considering him his greatest protector. She misses him when he disappears for long periods of time on his own business and fears that one day he won't return.

At the same time, the girl gradually notices that her brother can be overprotective and makes decisions for both of them. She wants to prove to him that she's grown up and capable of protecting her family.

Silentia doesn't approve of Clay's habit of manipulating people and playing with the feelings of the girls who are in love with him.

The first adult mentor who openly recognized Silentia's talent.

Irving noticed her unusual ability to maintain the fire form for a long time and with precision. He offered to personally train the girl if she continued to study diligently.

Silentia's fair-haired, freckled and timid friend.

Ataya studies with her and watches her magical experiments with interest. Silentia is concerned about her feelings and doesn't want Clay to take advantage of her crush.

A young templar with whom Clay is constantly at odds.

Silentia knows her brother enjoys provoking Cullen, but she bears no personal hatred toward the templar. She views him with caution, as she does other members of the Order.

She dislikes the templars' cruelty, but unlike Clay, she does not consider every one of them a monster.

Silentia fears the templars and understands that they are capable of depriving her of her freedom or life.

At the same time, the Order's presence creates a semblance of order and security. The girl experiences conflicting feelings: fear of being controlled and relief at no longer having to constantly hide.
