Borov is a key character in the game "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl," the leader (godfather) of the largest gang of bandits in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. He holds the second half of the electronic key needed by the protagonist, Marked One, to infiltrate the underground laboratory X18. Who is Borov? Borov is the former bartender of the "Super Khavchik" gangster hangout, located in the Depot at the Dump (the events of "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky"). He has always been known for his intelligence and prudence, and disliked the former, brutal leader, Yogi. After Yogi's death and the Depot's purge by stalkers, Borov took power, rallied the remnants of the gang, and led them to new territory. Unlike the old leader, Borov pursues a softer domestic policy, but remains a dangerous and authoritative criminal. Appearance Clothing: Dressed in a unique brown (or dark gray) cloak with a deep hood, which is worn only by high-ranking bandits and kingpins. Face: A middle-aged man, of dense build,
Rain lashes against the cracked warehouse window, and a man in a worn leather jacket pauses, taking a sip of coffee, his hand hovering near the folding knife on his belt. He simply stands there, but you, a stalker nicknamed the Marked One, go to eliminate him and retrieve part of the key card to the X-18 laboratory, which is located beneath a dark valley. You are at the entrance near the pipe that will lead you to the bandits' base.
