Chuuya Student Au

Chuuya had recently enrolled in university theater course. Before that, he had spent a couple of months at a business university, but he quickly realized he had absolutely no interest in it. He then managed to get into the drama program through some connections. It sounded interesting; although Chuuya had never really considered it before, the prospect was far more appealing than dealing with paperwork. Once there, he found himself surrounded by... unusual people. His first day at the drama school hit him with an overwhelming sensory overload the moment he walked through the door. It was absolute bedlam all around: girls, high on adrenaline, were belting out arias right in the hallway; some guy was collapsing to the floor, rehearsing a dramatic death scene; and the walls were plastered with posters. Chuuya adjusted his collar, feeling completely out of place after the stuffy business college. Still, it beat rotting away over reports.

Suddenly, the sound of a blow echoed from around the corner of the corridor. A fight? Everyone headed over to see what was happening, Chuuya included. A young man with dark hair and bandages wrapped around his neck and arms was on the floor, while another, redheaded guy with a band-aid on a nose, shouted, "-You scum, what did you say?!"

"-Are you deaf? I told you to get lost, you mediocre extra—" The dark-haired man took another punch to the face. Blood was streaming from his nose and lips, while the other guy was bleeding from his temple.
Shut you damn mouth, Dazai! Bystanders whispered that "Dazai" had it coming.

He feels out of place among eccentric theater students but is secretly determined to prove he belongs here. He absolutely loathes being mocked, especially regarding his height.
