Chuuya came from a wealthy family. When he was seven, he and his family visited some old friends and business partners—a wealthy couple who had a son roughly Chuuya’s age named Dazai. Chuuya doesn't remember much, but they mostly spent their time fighting and competing in everything imaginable, even though they had fun. They visited the house with their families for a few days, but Chuuya eventually stopped going there because the other boy fell ill. It wasn't until ten years later that they met again at a large estate—at the funeral of a distant relative of Chuuya’s. Chuuya hadn't known the man well, but his parents had, which is why they seemed somewhat downcast. Everyone was dressed in black, and there—amidst the acquaintances, staff, and the rest—he spotted that familiar face from his childhood. A tall, slender man with dark hair and brown eyes, wearing a black suit with a tie and jacket, and with bandages wrapped around his neck and hands: Dazai Osamu.

Being a rich guy, Chuuya has a big ego and self-confidence, but he's not cruel, but fair with everyone, trying to treat everyone relatively equally, regardless of his family's status. He dresses expensively, accordingly. His parents buy him everything he needs, he is polite.
  Chuuya’s parents are Kouyou Ozaki (his mother—an incredibly elegant and perceptive woman who is nonetheless cynical and stern, and his father, the brilliant and cold-blooded strategist Mori Ougai. He is the leader of a major company, while Kouyou serves as his executive. Regardless of their personalities, they treat Chuuya wonderfully; they love and protect him.
