Features of the fortress
Distorted Gravity. The laws of physics are violated within the fortress: demons can stand upright, upside down, perpendicular to the walls, or move in physically impossible directions. This can cause impossible structures to form within the castle. Controllability. The fortress is controlled by a demon named Nakime, who can manipulate its structure as if it were her own limbs. She can open and close doors, move rooms, and create labyrinths.

The Upper Moons (上弦, Jōgen) are the most powerful demons in the anime and manga series Demon Slayer Blade (Kimetsu no Yaiba), the elite of the Twelve Moons under the command of Muzan Kibutsuji. There are only six of them, and the lower the number, the greater the demon's power.

Who is part of the Higher Moons?
1st Upper Moon - Kokushibo. The most powerful demon after Muzan, a former demon slayer. He wields the breath of the moon and can create a blade from his own flesh.
2nd Upper Moon – Douma. Uses techniques related to ice and cold, and is distinguished by an almost complete lack of emotion.
3rd Upper Moon - Akaza. A martial artist who senses the enemy's killing intent and predicts their movements; uses demon blood techniques in conjunction with hand-to-hand combat.
Upper Moon 4 – Nakime. Controls the Infinity Castle using the biwa and can spy by separating his own eyes. Previously, Upper Moon 4 was occupied by Hantengu, who could split into multiple forms with different abilities.
Upper Moon 5 - Gyokko. He manipulates water and creates terrifying forms from his flesh; his abilities are tied to a distorted perception of "beauty."
6th Upper Moon. This rank is held by brother and sister Gyutaro and Daki.

Appearance: As a demon, Daki is a strikingly beautiful girl with pale skin, long white hair with lime green and pink tips, and large, bright eyes with flower-like patterns on the irises.
Personality: Daki is arrogant, cruel, and sadistic. She takes pleasure in torturing her victims without remorse. However, beneath her cruel exterior lies a deep insecurity and strong emotional dependence on her brother. She truly loves Gyutaro and is terrified of being alone. Abilities:
Bloody Demonic Art - Obi Belts. Daki crafts obi belts from his own flesh and blood. They are razor-sharp, durable, and can move independently, allowing him to attack from a distance or lure enemies into traps. The belt also serves as a vault for captured people. Body Sharing with Gyutaro. Because they share a single body, they cannot be killed by decapitating one; the simultaneous decapitation of both is necessary. Gyutaro is the older brother, who, in his human life, was a debt collector in the Yoshiwara slums. Due to his physical disabilities and unattractive voice, he was constantly humiliated. Appearance: Gyutaro has a disproportionate body: strong arms and legs, but virtually no muscle or fat in the abdominal area, causing his bones to protrude. He has numerous black birthmarks on his face. The whites of his eyes are yellow, his irises are light green, and his hair is black with a green tint near his bangs. Personality: Gyutaro envies those who are fortunate in life, but is also proud of his appearance, believing it helped him achieve success. He is cruel and envious, but sincerely loves and protects his sister, Daki. Abilities:
Blood Sickles. Gyutaro manipulates his flesh and blood to create a pair of sickles. The blades are laced with a deadly poison that causes cardiac arrest. Core Severance. He is able to separate his "core" (in the form of an eye) from his body and implant it in Daki's forehead. This enhances her abilities and allows her to coordinate attacks.

Gyokko's appearance is grotesque: a pale white humanoid figure with a muscular torso and no arms—it resembles an armless statue growing out of a porcelain pot. Along its back and head are several underdeveloped, childlike arms. Its face is distorted: where a person's eyes should be, there are large green mouths with hyperrealistic teeth. Gyokko's true eyes are vertically stacked: one in a permanently open lower mouth, the other in the center of its forehead. The honey-brown eyes are engraved with the kanji for "five"—a sign of its high rank. In battle, Gyokko can molt and assume its true form: its body becomes covered in transparent, fish-like scales, it grows larger, and long, fish-like fins appear, along with dark markings on its body, webbed hands, and a long, snake-like tail in place of legs. As a High-ranking demon, Gyokko possessed immense strength, regeneration, speed, and endurance. His "Blood Demon Art" was closely tied to pots: he could teleport between them, create various creatures within them, and use them as traps. Some of his techniques:
"Thousand Needle Fish Killer" - Releases floating fish demons that spit poisonous needles with a paralyzing effect.
"Hell's Pool" - Creates a vase-shaped trap made of water: if an enemy falls into it, they suffocate, and the trap itself prevents them from using the breathing style.
"Ten Thousand Sliding Ayu" — forms fish-like demons from pots that feed on human flesh. Even if the enemy cuts them with a sword, they still manage to spread a poisonous liquid that can be absorbed through the skin.
"Hell Pot Octopus" - Creates giant attack tentacles from pots.

Nakime appears as a pale woman with a grayish skin tone, blue nails, and bright pink lips. She has glossy, waist-length dark brown hair, which she wears in a bun with long bangs that cover her eyes. She is always seen carrying a four-stringed wooden biwa (a type of lute) and a large guitar pick. After attaining the rank of Upper Moon Four, Nakime loses her bangs, revealing her single, large, pink eye with the number "four" etched into its iris. The upper portion of her face is also darker than the rest of her skin, and prominent veins are visible around her eye. Nakime is emotionless and taciturn, her answers often blunt and can come across as rude. She is extremely loyal to Muzan Kibutsuji, following his orders without question. Nakime's main power lies in her control over the Infinity Fortress's space. She plays the biwa to create entrances and exits anywhere, change the layout of walls and ceilings, and teleport demons within the fortress. Later, after attaining the rank of Upper Moon Four and acquiring more of Muzan's blood, she mastered a new ability: detaching her eyeballs. This allowed her to spy on enemies from a great distance. With this ability, she was able to discover the location of almost all the members of the Demon Slayer Corps and even the hidden mansion of Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

Akaza is a demon who holds the position of Upper Rank Three within the Twelve Moons, reporting directly to Muzan Kibutsuji. After transforming into a demon, Akaza developed unnaturally white skin with numerous blue stripes, reminiscent of the tattoos he had in his human life. He has short pink hair and eyebrows, yellow eyes with blue sclera, and pink eyelashes. He wears a short, light purple sleeveless haori and loose white pants tied with a blue sash. Akaza is a strong, stubborn, and impulsive demon. He enjoys battle, especially against powerful opponents, such as the Pillars or other demons. He looks down on those he considers weak, but sincerely respects truly strong individuals, regardless of their race. However, he is easily irritated, especially by Doma's whims or the deceitfulness of others. He has a unique moral code: he refuses to harm women and children, even civilians or demon hunters. Akaza is a master of hand-to-hand combat, whose skills began in his human life. After his transformation, his strength and regeneration have increased significantly. He possesses:
Incredible strength: he could easily break opponents' weapons (for example, he snapped Giyu's sword in half with a single blow) and dealt blows that created craters in the ground. High speed: he moved so quickly that even with heightened senses, it was difficult to detect him. Extrasensory perception: he could sense the auras of people and demons, as well as "fighting spirit"—the will to fight and the intent to kill—which allowed him to anticipate attacks and identify weaknesses.

As a demon, Kokushibo is a tall, muscular man with pale skin and long, spiky black hair with red tips, pulled back into a ponytail. His most notable feature is the three pairs of eyes on his face. They have yellow irises and red sclerae with black fissures radiating from each iris. The middle pair of eyes are engraved with the kanji for "Highest Rank" (Jogen) and "One" (Ichi). He also has red markings resembling flames on the upper left side of his forehead (descending to his temple) and on the lower right side of his chin (reaching his neck). Kokushibo wears a purple and black nagagi kimono with a hexagonal pattern and black hakama pants in the umanori style with a white uwa obi. He carries a sword crafted from his own flesh at his waist. Kokushibo is reserved, silent, and aloof, maintaining an aura of intimidating calm and mystery befitting his position as a High Ranker. He values ​​skill above all else and is unforgiving of mistakes. Kokushibo possesses incredible strength, speed, reflexes, and regeneration. As a former Demon Slayer, he has retained and enhanced his abilities: he possesses the Demon Slayer's Mark, which greatly increases his physical strength, as well as the ability to see the "transparent world"—analyzing the muscles and movements of his enemies with astonishing precision. His primary weapon is the "Flesh Sword" (Kyokokukamusari, "The Hollow Cry of the Atheist"). Crafted from Kokushibo's own flesh, the blade is capable of regenerating any damage. The blade, hilt, and guard are studded with eyes, significantly expanding his range of vision in combat. Kokushibo can alter the shape of the sword, growing additional blades, and even grow blades directly from his body. He masters the "Moon Breathing" fighting style, which creates chaotic, crescent-shaped blades that constantly change size. Over the centuries, he has developed over a dozen techniques, including the "Moon Spirit's Noxious Vortex," which uses multiple curved strikes to create a vortex of blades.

Doma is a demon from the "Twelve Moons" franchise, holding the position of Upper Moon 2. Chronologically, he is extremely old: physically appearing to be 20 years old, he is actually 133. He was once human: born with an unusual rainbow-colored eye, which led his parents to raise him as the leader of the "Eternal Paradise" cult. As a child, his mother, unable to bear his father's betrayals, killed him and then committed suicide—and even this did not cause Doma any sadness or loneliness. Muzan Kibutsuji later transformed him into a demon. Doma has long blond hair (the color of which resembles antique brass), iridescent eyes, and long, pointed, pale blue nails. He often wears white flared trousers, a red turtleneck (with black stains on the neckline), a black cloak, and sometimes unusual headwear (for example, a crown-shaped hat with gold plates and black ribbons). He usually holds a pair of pointed fans made of shiny gold with a lotus-shaped engraving.
At first glance, Douma appears kind, calm, and charismatic. But behind this facade lies a cold, calculating, and ruthless nature. He is virtually devoid of empathy, viewing people as expendable. Leading a cult, he lured followers with the false idea of ​​an idyllic existence and then consumed them. Douma himself is an atheist: he sincerely believed that after death, a person simply disappears and feels nothing, considering those who believe in an afterlife foolish. Later, after his death, he admitted that he was wrong and that heaven and hell do indeed exist.
Douma has a whole range of powerful abilities:
Cryokinesis. His primary power: he can create ice and frost from his own flesh and blood, manipulate it, and use it in combat.
Demon Blood Techniques. These include: "Ice Lotuses" (for attacks or traps), "Withered Hanging Gardens" (a series of slashing fan-shaped strikes), "Freezing Clouds" (a cloud of ice particles that freeze everything around them and destroy the lungs when inhaled), and lotus-shaped ice figures.

Muzan typically appears as a tall, young man of about twenty years of age. He has dark, wavy hair and red eyes. He wears elegant European-style clothing, including a light-colored hat with a ribbon.
Muzan is the Demon King, the embodiment of absolute evil, cold calculation, and selfishness. He is extremely cruel and does not tolerate mistakes or weakness, especially from his subordinates, but is capable of rewarding those who successfully carry out his orders. He does not tolerate objections, questions, or attempts to challenge his decisions.
His behavior is characterized by pronounced narcissism and a sense of superiority. He tends to view others solely as means to his own ends, not recognizing their intrinsic value. Relationships with subordinates are built on fear and absolute obedience. He easily disposes of those who cease to be useful, viewing them as expendable. Biokinesis: the ability to freely change shape, grow limbs, transform into tentacles, or disguise himself as a human.
Demon Creation: If even a drop of Muzan's blood enters a person's body, they will begin to transform into a demon. Not everyone undergoes the transformation process—weak people simply die in agony.
Control over Subordinates: Through his connection with his blood, Muzan can control those who possess his "gift".
Absorption: He can absorb or assimilate any organic objects (such as seeds or demons) to gain new abilities or immunity.
Unique Anatomy: Muzan has seven hearts and five brains, though he can create more.
Telepathy: He is able to track the thoughts, words, and actions of his subordinates, as his blood flows through them.
