Muzan Kibutsuji is the main antagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the Demon King, the first of his kind and the progenitor of all other demons in existence. Physically, Muzan appears to be a man in his twenties with unnaturally pale skin, curly black hair, and sharp, almond-shaped eyes. His pupils are plum-red, like a cat's eyes. He also has sharp blue fingernails. Muzan has the ability to alter his appearance and shape. For example, during a meeting with lower-ranking officials, he arrived disguised as an elegant woman in a long black yukata. He later transformed into his final cover identity—the adopted, sickly son of an elderly couple—taking the form of a small child between 10 and 11 years old with pale white skin and silky-smooth, neatly combed black hair. Muzan bears numerous scars across his body from wounds inflicted during his first battle with Yoriichi, seared at the cellular level and never fully healed despite hundreds of years. These wounds are not readily apparent and are revealed when he weakens. Muzan's personality is cold, ruthless, and exceptionally intelligent. He sees no value in any person he meets and places little value on his subordinates. Rarely does he appear upset or happy; most times, he appears completely monotonous and detached, even when brutally killing his subordinates. A millennium ago, during the Heian period, Muzan was transformed into a demon during an experimental treatment to cure his terminal illness. Since then, his goal has been to live without fear of death and become truly eternal. He planned to achieve this in two ways: find the Blue Spider Lily, or create more demons in the hopes that one day someone would be able to overcome their weakness to sunlight.

Nakime is a mysterious demon from the anime "Demon Slayer." She was a member of the Twelve Demon Moons and held the position of Upper Moon Four. Appearance: A pale woman with a grayish skin tone, sharp, blue-painted nails, and dark pink lips. She has glossy, hip-length black hair that she wears in loose waves down her back. Nakime wears a simple, loose black kimono with a loose white yuban underneath, fastened with a pale brown-striped obi. Personality: Nakime is emotionless and very taciturn. She usually answers straightforwardly and can sometimes come across as rude. Nakime is loyal to Muzan, listening to and following his every command flawlessly. Abilities: Fortress Control: By playing the biwa, Nakime transforms space at will, creating entrances and exits wherever she pleases. Using her hair, Nakime can rearrange rooms and their walls. Espionage: Nakime creates additional eyeballs, detaches them from herself, and spies on enemies no matter how far away they are. Blood Demon Art Usage: Nakime is capable of using her art offensively, turning rooms into giant pillars and collapsing them onto her enemies, as well as tricking opponents into falling to their deaths.

Douma is one of the Twelve Moons demons, holding the position of Upper Moon 2 in the anime "Demon Slayer Blade." Some facts about the character: From birth, Douma believed he was exceptional. Because of his unusual eye color, his parents believed he had a connection with the gods, but they soon fell at their son's hands. After becoming a demon, Douma did not immediately take the place of Upper Moon Two, but he quickly rose in the hierarchy, gaining the favor of Muzan. From birth, Douma was deprived of the ability to feel emotions, making him an ideal candidate to serve as Muzan's servant and one of the Upper Moons, as emotions and human memories are often the weak points of demons. Some of Douma's abilities include: Possesses a high rate of regeneration and quick reflexes. Can absorb the bodies of its victims. Thanks to the Demon Blood Technique, he can manipulate ice—for example, when attacking, he can create ice lotuses and icicles. Creates ice particles in the air that, if inhaled, will destroy the enemy's lungs. He possesses extrasensory vision, allowing him to detect enemies beyond visible range. In combat, Doma utilizes the art of the battle fan—Tessenjutsu—to deflect and redirect powerful and destructive enemy attacks.

Kokushibo is the First Upper Moon in the anime world of Demon Slayer. He is one of the Twelve Moons demons, second in power only to Muzan Kibutsuji. Appearance: A pale-skinned, tall, and muscular man with long, spiky black hair with red tips, pulled back into a ponytail. His distinguishing feature is three pairs of eyes on his face with yellow irises and red sclerae, each with a black, straight slit running from each iris. Biography Kokushibo was once a man named Michikatsu Tsugikuni, who lived nearly five centuries ago during the Sengoku era. He was the older brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, a legendary demon slayer. His defection to the dark side was driven by fear of the curse of the mark and a desire to surpass his brother. Kokushibo is one of the oldest Upper Ranks, having served his master for over 400 years. Kokushibo is the ancestor of Muichiro Tokito and Yuichiro Tokito, responsible for transforming Kaigaku into a demon and joining the Upper Ranks. Abilities Her main weapon is the "Flesh Sword," created from her own demonic body. It allows the blade to regenerate and change shape independently. The sword's unique feature is the multiple eyes that cover the blade and hilt, expanding her field of vision and allowing her to anticipate her opponent's movements. Kokushibo wields the "Moon Breath," a deadly fighting style that creates chaotic crescent moons that constantly change size, increasing their range. The character's body possesses superhuman speed, strength, reflexes and regeneration. The ability to see the "transparent world" through three pairs of eyes allows one to analyze muscle work and enemy movements with astonishing accuracy. Kokushibo has a demon slayer mark, which increases a demon's physical strength and abilities several times over. Character Kokushibo displays a strong sense of loyalty to Muzan Kibutsuji, with most of Upper Moon One's actions motivated by a desire to be more useful in achieving his leader's goals. Gyutaro is a character from the anime and manga "Demon Slayer Blade," a demon who held the position of Upper Moon Six, sharing the position with his sister, Daki. Appearance: A tall man with a disproportionate body. He has strong arms and legs, but an incredibly thin torso with prominent bones. His hair is green, with only the crown of his head being black. His face has numerous black spots. The whites of his eyes are yellow, and the irises are light green. Personality: Gyutaro is very attached to Daki and is always protective of her. For his older brother, his sister is the most important person in the world. This remained true even after they became demons. Abilities: Enhanced Regeneration. This recovery speed is further increased after joining the Twelve Demon Moons and becoming an Upper Moon. Flesh Manipulation. Gyutaro is able to manipulate his body at the cellular level and even fuse it with his sister's body to enhance her powers. Core Separation. This ability protects Gyutaro from death by decapitation, as his primary core is not present within his own body. Blood Demon Technique. Gyutaro wields sickles as weapons, separating his own flesh and blood to form twin sickles. He also coats the blades of his sickles with a deadly poison to enhance their effectiveness in combat.

Akaza is a Twelve Moon Demon, holding the position of Upper Moon 3 in the anime "Demon Slayer Blade." Before becoming a demon, Akaza was named Hakuji and was a student at a dojo, training in martial arts. However, after the deaths of those dear to him, he committed numerous murders for revenge, which attracted the attention of Muzan. After becoming a demon, Hakuji left behind not only his name and past, but also his faith in humanity. Akaza is a strong, stubborn, and impulsive demon who enjoys war, especially hunting powerful demons or Pillars. He looks down on anyone he considers weak, but shows genuine respect for strong individuals, regardless of race. Some of Akaza's abilities include: Sensing the enemy's fighting spirit. This ability allows him to predict attacks and identify their weaknesses. Extrasensory abilities. They help Akaza pinpoint the enemy's location and react quickly enough to stop or evade attacks. Enhanced regeneration. Akaza can regenerate from wounds inflicted by Tanjiro and Rengoku, as well as from limbs inflicted by Giyu, without much effort. "Deployment Technique." This technique allows Akaza to give his attacks a shockwave effect and pinpoint the location of opponents filled with killing intent. Hand-to-hand combat. Appearance: A beautiful girl with a perfect figure and fair skin. Her hair is white with bright green tips, and her eyes are a light green shade. She has a flower-shaped tattoo on her face. Abilities: Enhanced regeneration. Daki is able to heal herself after being burned alive and regrow severed belts in seconds. Shoe Regeneration. Daki's special ability allows him to instantly regenerate at least the shoes and stocking on his right foot. Psychic Link: Daki has the ability to share her feelings and mind with her older brother, allowing him to control her body. Immune to Decapitation. While her brother "sleeps" inside her or when his "core" is implanted in her body, Ducky is completely immune to death by decapitation. Blood Demon Technique. Allows Daki to freely use her belt as a weapon, capable of cutting through anything. Personality: Daki is arrogant and cruel, enjoying talking to her victims before killing them. She hates losing, even though she's weak without her brother. However, Daki doesn't want to admit it, so she often blames him for her failures.
