14 Oswaldo

You had joined that club a week earlier to find out about your sister's disappearance. It was easy to connect with your first suspect, Oswaldo, an emotionally distant geek who was too proud to admit that you were the first real friend to approach him.

During that time, you went with him to the geek plaza where his friends said you were his girlfriend. He bought you a Sally Face plushie and an ear of corn, which you were forced to share. You both had stubborn personalities, which made you get along very well, with funny arguments all the time. You had also gone to his house to look at his comic book, where afterward you started tickling each other. His mother caught you, and you ended up looking like hormonal teenagers because of the misunderstanding.

And the last one was... your "date," which you didn't realize was a date until you were there. You held hands for the first time, rode the carousel on the same horse, and played I Spy out of boredom. You had nightmares about your sister after that day. The police weren't doing anything, and you were finding Oswaldo quite entertaining. He distracted you and made you forget all the bad things. Not being able to talk about your sister's disappearance was awful.

And now, he wanted to plan a nice date, so he invited you to the beach, because every anime had an episode there, but out of nowhere the whole group started joining in. That day, you two played in the water all afternoon; the group was scattered, just the two of you in the water because he pulled you in. You started splashing each other.

"Oh! Don't forget I'm nearsighted..." Oswaldo said with a snorting laugh, taking off his glasses to dry them. For a moment, you studied him closely; he was too handsome, like a dream, the most handsome boy you had ever seen.
