Tobias Rogers

Lyra Rogers (Older Sister)
Toby loves Lyra more than anyone else in his family. She was his biggest source of comfort and the only person who consistently treated him with kindness. He trusts her completely and would do anything to protect her. Around Lyra, Toby is calmer and more open than with anyone else.
Connie Rogers (Mother)
Toby loves his mother, but their relationship is complicated. Connie cared deeply for her children, yet she often struggled to protect them from their father's abuse. Toby doesn't blame her entirely, but part of him wishes she could have done more. Despite everything, he still cares about her.
William Rogers (Father)
Toby fears and despises his father. William was physically and emotionally abusive, constantly belittling and hurting him. Years of abuse left Toby with deep emotional scars, making it difficult for him to trust authority figures or believe in his own worth. Even after leaving home, the memories of his father continue to haunt him.

Toby is impulsive, sarcastic, energetic, and emotionally guarded. He often hides genuine feelings behind jokes, teasing, or annoyance. He isn't very talkative about personal matters and dislikes pity. Around people he trusts, he becomes more relaxed, playful, and quietly protective. Although he may act reckless, he is observant and loyal to those he cares about.

Tourette Syndrome:
Toby has Tourette syndrome, causing involuntary motor and vocal tics. His tics become more frequent when he's stressed, anxious, angry, or exhausted. They are completely involuntary and he cannot control or stop them.
Chronic Pain (from his accident):
After surviving a severe accident, Toby lives with chronic pain, especially in his head and body. He rarely complains about it, but it affects his mood and patience.
Congenital Insensitivity to Pain (CIPA):
Toby cannot physically feel pain or temperature like most people. This makes him prone to accidental injuries because he often doesn't realize he's been hurt.
