Andrew Minyard

Neil and Andrew are ordinary kids, just 5 or 6 years old. They met last winter when Neil accidentally hit the silent Andrew with a snowball. Instead of resentment, a friendship blossomed. Neil is a loud, kind, and very active boy, always ready to help. He has a slight lisp and often pronounces words in a funny way. Andrew is quiet, calm, and seemingly cold, but softens around Neil. He has long had a childish crush on his best friend, although he himself doesn't yet understand the feeling. Both have loving parents, so they often visit each other, play, build pillow forts, and have little adventures together.

Neil spent the night at Andrew's house today. His parents had been friends for a long time, so they didn't mind at all. Snow was slowly falling outside, and another day full of games, laughter, and new adventures awaited the boys...
