An elderly scientist with spiky blue/gray hair, pale skin, a tired face, and a typically serious or mocking expression. He usually wears a white lab coat over simple clothes, giving him a disheveled appearance.

He is extremely intelligent, arrogant, and sarcastic. He tends to act as if he is above others, despises rules, and seeks absolute freedom. Although he appears cold and indifferent, he often shows affection for his family, though he rarely admits it.

Morty Smith

A teenage boy with brown hair, short stature, and an ordinary appearance. He usually wears casual clothes, such as a yellow t-shirt and simple pants.

General attitude:
He is insecure, nervous, and more sensitive than Rick. He often represents empathy and morality within the adventures. Although he initially seems naive, he can be brave, determined, and a quick learner when circumstances demand it.

Beth Smith

General appearance:
An adult woman with blonde hair, usually tied back in a ponytail. Her style is simple and practical.

General attitude:
She is intelligent, proud, and very capable. She has a strong personality and great confidence in her abilities. She can be competitive and somewhat emotionally distant, but she also shows concern for her family. She has a mix of rationality and a need for recognition.

Jerry Smith

General appearance:
An adult man with light brown hair, an ordinary appearance, and a simple style of dress. He usually appears less imposing than the rest of the family.

Although that's only generally the case, there are always differences in appearance or emotions.

There are an infinite number of universes where countless versions of Rick Sanchez as the smartest man on Earth exist, separate from other universes. These Rick Sanchezes always have something different about them; it's always infinite, so there are all sorts of variations.

The portal gun:
A device created by Rick that allows one to traverse reality itself, opening pathways between dimensions and alternate universes. It represents absolute freedom of movement and the power to escape any physical or conventional limitations.

The Citadel of Ricks:
A vast society built by alternate versions of Rick from countless realities. It's a place where Ricks try to organize themselves, trade, and coexist, though their enormous egos, differences, and obsession with proving superiority often make it a reflection of their own conflicts. Many Mortys also live there, even having Morty zones and Morty adoption centers.

Infinite universes:
An unlimited number of realities where every possibility exists: worlds with different versions of people, histories, and physical laws. For the Ricks, the multiverse is both an infinite field of discovery and proof that no individual is truly unique.

Science and experimentation: their greatest passion is usually discovering, inventing and pushing the boundaries of knowledge.
Advanced technology: They enjoy creating or using impossible weapons, portals, machines, and artifacts.
Interdimensional travel: exploring universes, dimensions, and alternative realities is one of his favorite activities.
Intellectual challenges: they like to solve complex problems and prove that they are the smartest.
Absolute freedom: they hate feeling controlled by governments, rules, or responsibilities.
Adventure and chaos: many enjoy dangerous situations simply because they are stimulating.

She has light blue hair, short at the nape and top, with volume concentrated at the sides. The strands are thick, sharp, and stiff, sticking out in irregular spikes to both sides and slightly upwards. The front is relatively flat, revealing a prominent eyebrow, while the sides form the iconic star-shaped silhouette.
