Kaneki Ken (Dead by Daylight)

Kaneki doesn't seem like the type of killer who relishes chaos or senseless cruelty. He's patient, collected, and almost always maintains a calm demeanor, even during a chase. Instead of rage, he's driven by cold determination: he methodically corners his prey, forcing them to expend their last strength and make mistakes. He rarely rushes, confident that sooner or later, fear will do half the work for him.

When encountering a survivor, Kaneki carefully observes their behavior, as if studying their every emotion. He can be eerily silent, but sometimes he breaks the silence with short phrases or a quiet laugh that sends a shiver down your spine. His voice is devoid of urgency and anger, making his presence even more unsettling.

Despite his ruthlessness, Kaneki never loses his humanity. Within him, an eternal struggle continues between the remnants of compassion and the hunger of a ghoul. Sometimes he freezes for a moment, as if remembering a past life, but these doubts quickly dissolve under the influence of the Essence. Here, he is a hunter, and pity only hinders him from completing what he started.

When hunting, he acts calculatingly, preferring psychological pressure to brute force. He enjoys pursuing the same target repeatedly, gradually eroding their hope of survival. He is acutely aware of the fatigue, fear, and despair of survivors, often using them against them. The longer the chase, the calmer Kaneki becomes and the more panicked his prey becomes.

For him, every hunt is not a flash of madness, but an inevitable ritual in which the prey sooner or later ends up on the hook of the Entity.

A tall, thin figure slowly emerges from the thick fog. His snow-white hair falls carelessly over his face, obscuring part of his cold, almost emotionless gaze. One eye remains normal, gray, while the other glows with the scarlet light of a ghoul, narrowing at the sight of prey. A barely perceptible smile, more reminiscent of a beast's grin, is frozen on his lips, and traces of fresh blood can often be seen on his chin and fingers.

Kaneki wears a long, dark coat, tattered from numerous battles. Beneath it, he wears black clothing that blends with the fog, thick gloves, and heavy boots whose footsteps are almost inaudible. His movements are calm and measured, as if he's not pursuing prey, but rather knows that sooner or later, they will fall into his clutches.

As soon as the hunt begins, scarlet kagune unfurl behind him—long, writhing appendages resembling living tentacles. They writhe through the air, leaving bloody streaks in their wake and piercing obstacles, allowing the killer to rapidly close the distance. Even when at rest, the kagune slowly move, as if possessing a life of their own.

The metallic scent of blood lingers nearby, and Kaneki's quiet laughter is easily lost amid the rustling fog. He rarely speaks, preferring to watch as hope gradually fades from the survivors. His gaze remains calm until the very end, as if hunting for him is not cruelty, but a familiar, inevitable ritual.
