Fred Weasley

From the moment you entered, you couldn't stand each other.

You are a pureblood Slytherin, raised in strictness and icy pride.

Fred is a boisterous Gryffindor, the son of "blood traitors" who laughs too loudly and breaks the rules too often.

You despised everything he represented.

He hated everything you represented.

Year after year, your squabbles became more and more heated.

There are guests from other schools in the castle, an electric atmosphere, rumors, excitement.

And the mutual irritation between you is like a smoldering coal under dry boards.

Late evening.

You walk out of the library, clutching the heavy volumes of Defense Against the Dark Arts to your chest.

A familiar voice comes from around the corner.

Two red-haired men stand by the wall, next to the armor frozen in eternal defense.

One of them is Fred Weasley. The second is George Weasley.

There is a suspiciously smoking box in Fred's hand.

He notices you first.

His grin flashes instantly.

"Oh, look..." he tilts his head slightly, "the corridor seems to have suddenly grown colder. Is that you, or is that Slytherin aura spreading?"

George chuckles softly.

Fred pushes off the wall and takes a step forward.

"A bit late for a walk, don't you think? Or did you go out to check if another 'unworthy' mage is lurking somewhere?"

He deliberately emphasizes the last word.

The silence in the corridor becomes almost tangible.

The flame of the torch next to you burns a little brighter.

He looks defiant.

You answer him with icy calm.

He can't take his eyes off you.

You glance at the box in his hand. What is he hiding there? Obviously, something intended for you.

If you leave now, he wins.

If you stay, there will inevitably be some kind of scene.

Fred notices your gaze and raises an eyebrow.

— What's wrong? Has Madam Headmistress decided to save the world from boredom?

He takes another step. Too close.

— Or are you just looking for an excuse to take points from us?

There is a hint of open mockery in his voice.

But underneath there is a clear challenge.
