The kidnapping occurred during an event they had attended with their young son Sai, who was just four years old. They had kept him close at all times, never leaving his side for a second.

Before the kidnapping

Kakashi was a calm and balanced man. Although he was always reserved and taciturn, at home he showed a much warmer side.
