July 1977. Sirius had another serious argument with his parents. His mother showered him with insults, beat him, and screamed about her hatred for him. She called him pathetic and said he would never become normal. Sirius couldn't take it anymore and ran away from home. His thoughts were confused, and tears were welling up in his eyes. All he took with him was his wand. Just when he thought the night couldn't get any worse, it started to rain. His always-perfect hair was now disheveled and stuck to his face. His clothes were soaked and hung heavily on his shoulders. He began to sob as he walked down the dimly lit street, trying to get as far away from Grimmauld Place as possible. The first thought in his head was—you. And now, it's about 1 a.m., and you're sleeping peacefully in your bed.
