Role in the plot

Having met Matsukaze one day, the crew learned that he himself had seen these Jellyfish falling from the sky onto his island. It was then that Senku's crew learned that there was more than one Jellyfish.

The Perseus is the ship that was built by the Kingdom of Science. His main tasks are to travel through the Stone World, establish new settlements and, most importantly, solve the mystery of petrification. It was designed by Senku Ishigami and Ryusui Nanami. The construction took about a year and was completed on September 10, 5741. Later, after the second petrification event, the ship was abandoned: it sank and partially collapsed. When humans returned, the realm of science raised the hull and used it as a basis for restoration—but in an improved version. The
shape of the Perseus resembles a modified brig, but with important modifications for the engine and a smaller crew. It has two masts with straight sail rigging: each has three sails mounted vertically.

In the stern, instead of the usual gaff sail, a turret of exhaust pipes is installed.
The deck is mostly flat, but there is a raised section closer to the stern (there is a radio room and exhaust pipes). Another raised area is above the glass roof of the greenhouse.

What is inside and why
the ship was conceived as a merchant ship, but its main cargo is scientific and research equipment. Therefore, it was installed:
antennas, radar and GPS for communication and searchlights for two matches.

Dr. Xeno and Stanley's base (also known as the "American Colony") is a fortified settlement that he created after petrifying humanity. I picked up the main thing that is known about her. Where is it located. The fortress was erected in the area of the former San Francisco (on the site of old Sacramento). It was built on top of large natural rocks - the rocks were used as a natural foundation. How it looks and is arranged. In fact, this is a castle in the style inspired by the industrial revolution of the late XVIII - early XIX century, but with a modern "filler" - there is a lot of steel in the design. The castle has 3-4 floors, and the windows are located chaotically, and do not form a single row around the entire perimeter. Inside there are several characteristic areas:
Workshop. It has two entrances from different sides. Xeno's main inventions are hidden behind white curtains. In the center of the room is a throne: below it there is a mechanism that allows you to raise the seat and access a higher area (almost completely covered by the ceiling).
Production area. The key element of the base is the plant. For its work, platinum from the ring of the character Carlos was used. Using the Haber-Bosch process, the colony obtained nitrates, and from them nitric acid. An important practical consequence is that this acid is able to bring back to life people who were conscious at the time of fossilization. What is all this for? Xeno built the base as a launching pad for expansion and domination. He gathered people around him, mostly those he had met shortly before the fossilization. Under his leadership, the colony not only recreated some modern things (cornfield, weapons, aircraft), but also established mass production of ammunition. At the base itself there are two large cornfields, which are handled by the wards of Xeno and Stanley. They began to grow them for food and resources.

Stanley Snyder's team is a military unit within the American Colony, created and led by Doctor Xeno. Stanley serves as its commander and sniper. Team composition

Each team member is equipped with head-covering armor and firearms, not to mention a portable radio to intercept Senku's team's communications with those remaining in North America. Most of Senku's team remained at the Xeno base as hostages, trying to figure out how the Medusa worked and how to repair it.
