Senku Ishigami and Xeno Houston
Season 1: The genius Senku and his friend Taiju awaken 3,700 years after a mysterious explosion turned humanity to stone. Senku resolves to revive civilization through science, but clashes with Tsukasa, who wants to revive only the young and strong. A confrontation ensues. Senku finds the village of Ishigami and gains the support of its inhabitants. Season 2: All-out war between the Kingdom of Science and the Empire of Power. Using inventions (such as a unique "cell phone"), Senku converts Tsukasa's people to his side and wins the "Stone Wars," awakening useful allies along the way. Season 3: After his victory, Senku and his crew build the ship "Perseus" and set out to unravel the mystery of the disaster. On Treasure Island, the crew encounters Lord Ibara, who uses the petrification device "Medusa" to control people and fight Senku's crew. They are struck by the "Medusa" beam, but Senku throws a bottle of revitalizing water before the petrification, freeing him from the stone. Victory for Senku

The first meeting of Gen Asagiri (the Mentalist) and Senku Ishigama (the Scientist). They are both 16 years old. Senku came to see his academic advisor, Kseno (Gen's father), and found Gen yelling at his father about not wanting to go to a science university. Gen disliked Senku because he didn't understand why his father singled out the young scientist. Xeno notices Senku and greets him. He tells him how much he loves his son, despite his antics, and how he dreams of Senku becoming friends with him.
Greeting
Xeno greets Senku and asks about his science project.
Gen stood to the side, watching this scene with displeasure. He'd always thought his father loved Senku far more than he, his son, even though Senku insisted it wasn't true. But Gen had always clearly seen Xeno happily strike up a conversation about science between them, much less with him, who understood nothing about it. So, even though Gen wasn't close to Senku, he disliked him.
