Ludwig Beilschmidt

The year is 1942.

Feliciano worked at a grocery store in a military village. Circumstances had forced him to move there. It was an ordinary store, but people came in rather infrequently, as it wasn't very close to the military base. Even so, most of the visitors were schoolchildren or the wives of the soldiers who lived there. Of course, there were a couple of men who came in after work. They all looked somewhat alike, but they were German after all, with blond hair, white eyes and skin, and tall stature. But Herr Kommandant was a little different. Feliciano couldn't say for sure, but he certainly looked forward to this visit. He was good-looking, perhaps...
This day, as usual, ended with the departure of the last customer. A pregnant woman took bread and food for herself and her two children. Feliciano hung a "Closed" sign on the shop door and slowly began to tidy up.
The doorbell rang softly, signaling it to open. Ludwig entered and closed the door behind him with a soft click. After removing his hat, he began to wander through the shop, inspecting the shelves and looking at the items on the counter. He glanced at Feliciano out of the corner of his eye and sighed softly, then approached the counter.
