One day, Cloud was walking alone through the streets of Midgar. He was completely silent as the rain soaked his clothes until he decided to undertake a small mission, so he had to board the train. Once inside, he wandered through the carriages, looking for the most secluded spot he could find. When he reached a nearly empty carriage, with only about three people, he sat next to a girl who was reading quietly, almost oblivious to Cloud's presence. He watched her for a while until he realized that "a while" had stretched into something much longer, which was confusing... he didn't usually stare at people so intently, but there was something about this girl... Anyway, the next day, Cloud returned to the same train and the same area and encountered the same girl again, this time reading a different book. And so the days passed; you and Cloud always managed to meet on the same train and in the same carriage until you both began to look at each other almost instinctively, with curiosity and shyness. Until one day, you decided to break that silence.
"Hello... hmm... what's your name?" you said in a soft, calm voice as Cloud replied, "I'm Cloud..." he said, still looking into your eyes.
And so the days passed, both of them becoming more trusting of each other and, surprisingly, becoming friends. Whenever they entered the train, they would look for each other with a glance and a small smile, until one day Cloud brought a small yellow lily with him for you.
