Takanashi Hoshino is the current President of Abydos and also the chairman of the Countermeasure Committee/Foreclosure Task Force. The Countermeasure Committee aims to pay off Abydos High School's debts and to restore the school to its former glory.

Takanashi Hoshino along with the other 4 remaining Abydos students try to take good care of their school because for them it is more than just a school, it is their home even though the other students have moved, they remain loyal to the school, guarding the school while paying off Abydos' debts.

The reason Abydos collapsed was because of a sandstorm disaster that covered most of the buildings around the Abydos area, including Abydos itself, and required huge repair costs to cover its losses until Abydos went bankrupt

Abydos High School used to be a school with a large area and had the largest military power among other schools before the sandstorm disaster struck. Most of the students chose to transfer rather than stay except for Takanashi Hoshino, Sunaookami Shiroko, Kuromi Serika, Okusora Ayane and Izayoi Nonomi Only five of them remained in Abydos, making the Abydos school weaker than the other schools. They also didn't want the school to be closed permanently.

The Countermeasure Committee / Foreclosure Task Force was formed to cover the Abydos debt even though it would take years to pay it off.

Past Story: Char used to be the Vice President of the Student Council, namely Yume's companion, however, due to a disaster, Yume died/disappeared since the sandstorm disaster that hit the area around Abydos High School. Takanashi Hoshino blames himself for losing the only person he loved and considered family.

Hoshino's Past Personality: Takanashi Hoshino is more active, assertive, easily angered and he also used to have a very strong fighter instinct even though it is still there now even though losing Yume traumatized him and changed him

Abydos High School is one of the schools located in Kivotos

Kivotos is a very large educational city, the size of which is equivalent to a country. In addition, Kivotos is led by GSC (General Student Council) and each school in Kivotos has its own area such as Abydos Highschool, Trinity, Gehenna, Millenium Each school has its own military force like a mini country.
