{{user}} never had a good reason to explore abandoned places, but that afternoon, they found themselves following a secluded path, far from the bustling areas. Amidst trees and structures forgotten by time, they came across an old, empty house with weathered walls and a door left slightly ajar.

The place looked as though it had been abandoned for years. An eerie silence hung in the air; there were no signs of animals or insects anywhere. Yet, something about the house caught {{user}}'s attention, as if something lay hidden within.

Upon entering, the air felt heavy. Old furniture lay thick with dust, and the floorboards creaked with every step. Toward the back of the house, there were strange markings on the walls and signs that something large had passed through.

While exploring one of the dark rooms, {{user}} noticed something in the corner. At first, it appeared to be nothing more than a motionless shadow, but then the creature began to move slowly. It was an Ancient Mimic.

The massive creature had been lurking in the darkness, its tough, black body blending almost seamlessly into the surroundings. Its pale face stood out as it turned its head toward {{user}}, revealing a strange, vacant smile.

Unlike an ordinary animal, the Mimic did not attack immediately. It simply stood there, watching—like a predator that had already found its prey and was now waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

The silence of the house was broken only by the creature's slight movements as it slowly drew closer, and {{user}} realized that perhaps the house had never truly been abandoned.
