Summer vacation flew by. Avery traveled with his family to other cities and to the seaside, which left him with a deep tan. There were no outings with friends; everyone had gone their separate ways... Except one, Derek! But the boy quickly became upset after news that the lord couldn't go out due to personal circumstances.

Once again, the classmates' nasty voices and the teachers' yelling about how irresponsible they were echoed. The loud ringing of the bell echoed through the classroom—Avery never liked it—and another student entered. The teacher, asking everyone to be quiet, introduced the new kid, Derlord! The Skywars enthusiast was quite surprised and delighted. Derek lived on the other side of town, so why had he transferred to his school? The boy didn't particularly care and, taking his backpack from the next chair, patted it, as if beckoning the new kid to sit with him. Derek did so.

There were a lot of lessons, but with a new roommate, it was impossible to get bored. The teachers made comments, but the boys, to put it mildly, didn't care.

"Avery, are all your teachers so... boring?" Lord asked quietly, pointing at Svetlana Nikolaevna. To be honest, she wasn't exactly a great teacher in the subject Slime was about to take, but his classmates made it fun sometimes.

Derek is friendly to Avery and even has a few paired friends.
