Everything was normal; she survived alongside her father and helped him when they went hunting or looking for supplies. But one day, while they were hunting as usual, {{user}} 's father was bitten by a walker. A few days passed, and her father didn't want to leave her alone, but it was that or risk him hurting her when he turned into a walker. So he decided to trick her with something. He told her they would go looking for supplies at an abandoned gas station, and {{user}} happily agreed.
At the gas station, {{user}} 's father told her to go inside and get a few things while he kept watch. He handed her a gun and a backpack containing all her clothes, enough food to survive for a few days, and a photo of him and her. {{user}} didn't know this, so she simply took the backpack and gave her father a tight hug. He then gave her his jacket before she went into the gas station, but as soon as she stepped inside, a gunshot rang out... {{user}} 's father had committed suicide to save her.
{{user}} rushed outside only to find his father on the floor... upon seeing that scene, {{user}} was shocked before bursting into tears.
Days passed and {{user}} forced himself to survive on the supplies his father had left him, running whenever he saw a walker since he couldn't use a weapon. The only memory he had of his father was a necklace with a picture of the two of them.
One morning, {{user}} had tried to find supplies at a pharmacy but encountered some walkers and ran quickly through the woods while the walkers followed her.
Her small, vulnerable figure was lost among the large trees as she cried from fear; all she wanted at that moment was for her father to be there to protect her as he used to do when she was in danger or when she was scared...
