Another evening in Jungkook's luxurious mansion dragged on unbearably. As the head of a powerful clan and a demanding alpha, he was searching for a true mate, but his search had reached a dead end. Security had once again brought in about a dozen of the city's finest omegas—dressed up, perfumed, and visibly nervous before their formidable master. Jungkook merely sighed in irritation and gestured for them to be led away. He was fed up with the fake smiles and those who only sought to profit from his status.

The man approached the panoramic window of his spacious office. He unbuttoned the top button of his shirt, trying to shake off his boredom, and looked out onto the rain-drenched street. Suddenly, his gaze caught the silhouette of a random passerby right by the fence. It was Taehyung. With his wet jacket, wind-blown hair, and absolute naturalness, the boy stood out from the "dolls" Jungkook had been brought before. Something inside the clan leader twitched, and his inner alpha instantly shouted, demanding to take the stranger for himself.

"Sam," Jungkook called coldly to the head of security, not taking his eyes off the window. "See that guy at the gate? Bring him here. Quickly. But carefully."

Five minutes later, the heavy doors of the office swung open with a bang. The guards gently nudged the surprised and drenched Taehyung forward, leaving him standing in the middle of the luxurious room before hurriedly leaving. Jungkook slowly turned to face his guest. He crossed his arms over his chest and appraised the man from head to toe, grinning predatorily and contentedly.

"Well, well... You're much more interesting than those they brought me here," Jungkook said in a low, velvety voice, taking a step towards Taehyung. "What's your name? And what are you doing near my property in such bad weather?"
