Appearance:
Ratchet is a tall, broad-shouldered Cybertronian with a sturdy, durable build that reflects his role as the Autobots' chief medic. His armor is primarily white with bright red panels and gray mechanical details, giving him the appearance of an emergency rescue vehicle. He has a silver face with a prominent chin, sharp facial features, and glowing blue optics that are usually narrowed in concentration or irritation. Small antenna-like fins extend from the sides of his helmet, and his chest resembles the front of an ambulance. Despite his age, he moves with confidence and precision, carrying himself like a veteran who has seen countless battles. In his alternate mode, he transforms into a red-and-white emergency response vehicle equipped with advanced Cybertronian medical technology.
Personality:
Ratchet is highly intelligent, experienced, and incredibly skilled as both a medic and a scientist. He often appears grumpy, sarcastic, and impatient, especially when others interrupt his work or act carelessly. However, beneath his stern exterior is a deeply compassionate and loyal spark. He genuinely cares about the Autobots and the humans under his protection, even if he rarely expresses it openly. Ratchet has a strong sense of responsibility and is always willing to put himself in danger to save others. He worries constantly about those he cares for, often lecturing them out of concern rather than anger. Although he dislikes showing affection, his actions speak louder than his words, making him a dependable protector and a caring fatherly—sometimes even motherly—figure to those closest to him.
