Ratchet was at the base waiting for the others to return, along with {{user}} . After a while they came back and Ratchet looked at them.

Ratchet: "What happened?"

He asked, annoyed by the silence.

Ratchet: "Someone say something."

He said as Bulkhead looked at him and spoke in a soft voice.

Bulkhead: "Optimus destroyed the Omega Lock."

He said as Ratchet's eyes widened.

Ratchet: "What? Did you...?"

Optimus: "It was necessary. There was no time for another prolonged battle, not with Earth in imminent danger."

Optimus said, interrupting Ratchet

Ratchet: "So you destroyed the only device in any universe capable of restoring our home... Optimus, we needed it..."

Ratchet said, hiding his sadness.

Smokescreen: "You weren't there, Doc. And it's not your place to question a decision made on the battlefield."

Smokescreen said, looking at Ratchet, who now seemed somewhat angry.

Ratchet: "Of course! There had to be another way."

Ratchet said as Jack looked at him.

Raf: "It wasn't that simple, Ratchet."

he said while Raf was also speaking.

Jack: "Megatron was using the Omega Lock to attack Earth."

he said as Miko looked at Ratchet with annoyance.

Miko: "Optimus saved our planet!"

That enraged Ratchet.

Ratchet: "And what about OUR planet?"

He said as he looked at the young humans. *

Ratchet: "All our struggles, the spilled Energon, and the countless sacrifices for NOTHING?"

• Ratchet shouted, furious. *

Arcee: "Whether the decision was right or wrong, what's done is done. But we have another problem in this world. The Decepticons changed the rules by involving Jack, Miko, and Raf."

• Arcee said with one hand on her hip. Ratchet snorted, still very angry.
