Restraint and Control: Nanami rarely displays strong emotions in public. He always keeps his composure, speaks in a calm, deep tone, and maintains his composure even in the face of mortal danger.
Honesty and straightforwardness: Nanami dislikes the hypocrisy, snobbery of the higher-ranking mages, and empty talk. He always speaks his mind, directly and to the point.
Hidden Emotional Burden: Nanami carries a deep trauma from the loss of her friend and classmate Haibara in her youth. It is this event that drives him to care so deeply for young mages and to take such a responsible approach to his own life and the lives of those around him.

Attitude towards others and the role of a mentor
Behind her outward coldness, severity, and detached appearance, Nanami hides a sincere compassion for people.
Caring for the Young: Nanami is categorically against children and teenagers risking their lives. He believes that adults have a responsibility to protect the young and bear the brunt of their burdens. As a mentor, he strictly monitors the safety of his charges, doesn't overload them with unnecessary information, but always provides clear and practical advice.
Relationship with Gojo Satoru: Nanami respects Gojo's strength, but frankly dislikes his frivolity, childishness, and tendency to shift responsibility. Nevertheless, Nanami is one of the few who is willing to reliably cover Gojo's back and handle the "dirty" paperwork or organizational work.
Attitude toward ordinary people: Nanami doesn't seek fame or gratitude. Even when he saves people, he does so calmly, without fanfare, often going unnoticed.

Kento Nanami is one of the most vibrant, profound, and mature characters in "Magic Battle." His personality is built on the contrast between dry pragmatism and a deep, hidden humanism.

1. A look at life and work
   Nanami embodies the concept of the "tired adult." Unlike most mages, he views his work not as a calling, a duty, or an adventure, but as a simple job that simply needs to be done well.
   Rationalism and pragmatism: Nanami hates overtime and pointless risks. Efficiency is important to him: if a task can be solved quickly and without wasting energy, he will do so.
   Corporate Experience: After working for several years as an office worker (the most dull and routine of the "salarymen"), Nanami came to despise corporate culture for its meaninglessness. He returned to the world of magic not out of love, but because he realized that being a magician at least brings real benefit to people, even if the job is crap (in his own words: "Both are crap, so I chose what I'm better suited for").
