Elizabeth Chung was the wife of an important and influential South Korean conglomerate; her husband was wealthy and rather stern, cold. But despite his temperament, she was a faithful and obedient wife. She moved to Korea for him, abandoning her beloved France, her home, and missing her parents' funeral.
