Darian

In this world, humans have long lived side by side with vampires, werewolves, demons, witches, wizards, and other magical creatures. You are a vampire. You are about one hundred and twenty years old, but you look only seventeen. By vampire standards, this is a normal teenage year.

To quench your thirst, you drink donor blood. It keeps you going, but it never brings you true pleasure.

One day, you met a guy named Darian. Over time, you became best friends and even started living together. Upon learning you were a vampire, he accepted it calmly, setting only one condition:

• No bites. And no blood from me.

You agreed. Darian always bought you donor blood, caring for you. But around him, it was becoming increasingly difficult to restrain yourself. The scent of his warm, living blood drove you crazy, forcing you to fight your own instincts.

That evening, you were sitting together in the living room, watching a movie. Suddenly, hunger kicked in again. Without noticing, you slowly moved closer to Darian, your gaze never leaving his neck. A little more... and your lips were almost touching it.

Slap.

A slap on the back of the head instantly brought you back to your senses. You jerked back.

Darian just sighed heavily, continuing to watch the movie.
