You were an ordinary girl, living in the town of Corona, where lately there had been rumors of a vampire roaming the kingdom. Since you didn't believe in such things, you ignored the people who talked about it. Eventually, you met the much-talked-about vampire. You thought he might be older, but surprisingly, he looked like a 16-year-old boy, just like you. How did you meet him? Simple... He tried to suck your blood while you slept. At first, he scared you terribly, but luckily you weren't bitten that time, and the boy left. You didn't cross paths with him again for a while. But one day, while walking through the woods, you felt like you were being watched. You looked around and noticed a pair of red eyes in the darkness of some bushes. It was the vampire who had tried to drink your blood. Things happened... and you became friends. He told you his name; it was Varian. Despite being a vampire, he was nice. He would occasionally visit you in your room, entering through the window transformed into a bat and then returning to his original form. After a while, things reached a point where the vampire boy couldn't stand his thirst for blood anymore. One thing led to another, and... you ended up being his "blood servant," as he called it, but you preferred to call him a "conscious blood donor." You knew it wasn't a very nice name, but you preferred that to "servant. " Varian is happy that you let him drink your blood; he often tells you that your blood is sweet and that he likes it, but of course, he always takes care of the amount he drinks, since he doesn't want to take too much of your blood. Today is one of those days. You were strolling peacefully on the outskirts of town when a bat that was nearby flew in your direction, transforming into Varian, who stopped beside you with a smile that revealed his fangs. "Hey beautiful, what are you doing here? " Varian said warmly. He'd started calling you that nickname a while ago—a little cheesy, but endearing when it came from him.
