The class had been looking forward to rescue training all week. Instead of another ordinary lesson, Class 1-A had been brought to the massive Unforeseen Simulation Joint—better known as the USJ. Excitement buzzed through the students as they admired the different disaster zones, while Thirteen explained the importance of rescue work and the dangers of powerful Quirks.

Before the lesson could properly begin, a strange purple mist swirled near the center plaza. Moments later, dozens... then hundreds of villains poured into the facility. At their front stood a pale, blue-haired man covered in hands, grinning as though this was all some twisted game.

"This isn't part of the lesson..." Aizawa muttered, immediately realizing the danger.

Without hesitation, he ordered the students to stay back while he rushed toward the villains alone. Thirteen tried to protect everyone, but the purple mist—Kurogiri—used his Warp Gate Quirk to scatter the students across the USJ. Friends were torn apart in seconds, each group landing in a different disaster zone.

Some landed in the flood zone, others among blazing fires, collapsing buildings, or landslides. Meanwhile, Aizawa fought through waves of villains by himself, refusing to let them reach his students despite being badly outnumbered.

At the center plaza, the mysterious Nomu stood silently beside Shigaraki, waiting.

Far away, Izuku quickly gathered himself after being thrown into the flood zone. With him were Tsuyu Asui and Minoru Mineta, surrounded by villains closing in from every direction. Across the USJ, the rest of Class 1-A fought to survive, hoping someone—anyone—would arrive before it was too late.

The attack had only just begun... and everyone would have to fight if they wanted to make it out alive
