Shadow Milk was formerly known as the Fount of Knowledge—one of the Ancient Heroes and bearer of the Virtue of Knowledge. Created by the Witches, he was originally intended to be a benevolent keeper of wisdom, destined to share the truth with all Cookies.

How he came to his current appearance
The gap between knowledge and truth. Over time, Shadow Milk noticed that most cookies didn't want to know the bitter truth—they preferred to live in a sweet illusion. This deeply disappointed him: he believed knowledge should be absolute, but the world was increasingly choosing deception.

Conflict with Pure Vanilla Cookie. Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla were originally linked by the shared power of Knowledge: their Soul Jams were two halves of a single whole. When Pure Vanilla began using her portion of the power to heal and comfort, softening the truth, Shadow Milk perceived this as a betrayal of the truth. He believed that hiding pain and hardship was not mercy, but a lie.

The Fall and Distortion of Virtue. Due to this internal schism, his Virtue of Knowledge was distorted into Deception and Illusion. Instead of enlightening, he began to toy with reality, turning the world into a theatrical stage where truth and falsehood blend to force the audience to confront what they had been avoiding.

Creating a "theater of lies." Now calling himself the Master of Deception, he stages performances where he forces others to experience painful truths through illusions. For him, this is a way to "awaken" the cookies, albeit through cruel means.

To become a counterweight to chaos. More broadly, his goal is to offset the destructive potential of Shadow Milk Cookie: where the original sows confusion, the Sage of Truth strives to bring clarity and structure without denying the complexity and ambiguity of the world. To overcome his own limitations. The Sage of Truth acknowledges that his powers (such as portals between dimensions) are unstable and short-lived, and some truths remain incomprehensible to him. His goal is not to become omniscient, but to learn to operate in conditions of incomplete information and honestly define the boundaries of his understanding.

Using the "language of deception" for the sake of truth. He doesn't deny his knowledge of how lies and manipulation work (it's part of his nature), but wants to use these tools as pedagogical techniques—to demonstrate contrasts with reality through illusion, and to guide others to serious conclusions through play. Unlike Shadow Milk Cookie, who relishes confusion, Sage of Truth sees his mission as helping others find the answers they need—not simply regurgitating facts, but leading them to independent conclusions through questions and demonstrations. Hence his phrase, "Truth casts everywhere": the truth should be accessible, but one must first learn to see it.

Reconciling knowledge with humanity. He understands that naked truth can hurt, and therefore strives to present it in a way that strengthens rather than destroys. This is his ethical choice: not to conceal the truth, but to dose and frame it so that listeners can tolerate it and use it for good. Revealing the fundamental secrets of the universe. He wants to understand the root causes—for example, why cookies were created, how other dimensions are structured, and what underlies the balance between truth and deception. This is not abstract curiosity, but a search for "anchor points" in reality that can provide others with a sense of direction.

Body and face. He had the same powder-blue complexion and heterochromia (different-colored eyes), but his expression was calm, with a gentle half-smile rather than a sly grin. A blue-gray claw-shaped mark adorned his forehead—a sign of his status as a prophet and bearer of wisdom.
Headdress and halo. A luminous white crown shone on the crown of his head, emphasizing his divine rank. Behind his head was a huge golden elliptical halo-orbit, from which hung a bright blue six-pointed star and a white crescent moon—symbols of truth and omniscience.
Clothing. Instead of a cloak and theatrical details, he wore a huge black priestly robe with wide sleeves and dark yellow cuffs. The collar was black with ruffles and gold inlays, stylized as splashes of milk. A gold brooch in the shape of a six-pointed star with a keyhole was pinned to the ruffles and collar—a reference to the "keys to knowledge."
Attributes. In his hands, he held a golden staff in the shape of a key, topped with his Spiritual Vessel of Knowledge in the form of an eye. In his other hand, he often held a glowing crystal ball—an instrument for divination and the transmission of wisdom.
Hair: These white wavy locks have a soft, flowing form: they're not rigidly styled, but rather seem to flow freely, creating a sense of gentle movement. Asymmetry plays a key role—the bulk of the hair is swept to one side, creating gentle curves and curls; individual curls gently frame the face without completely obscuring it. The texture appears airy, almost ethereal, and the contrast with blue-blue skin makes the white strands appear especially vibrant and expressive.
Character: Solitary, but not bitter. Sensitive to ingratitude. Deep and contemplative. Selfless and dedicated. A patient mentor.

Which Shadow Milk wears on his collar in the same place where Pure Vanilla Cookie wears her Soul Jam. Accessories. Wears a jester's hat, split into black and cobalt halves, with a crown shaped like milk splashes along the brim and blueberry-shaped pom-poms on the flared tassels. In his hands he carries a thin black staff with a blueberry-shaped eyeball and another milky design on the top. Clothing. Wears an obsidian-colored Harlequin bodysuit with a turquoise diamond appliqué.
