It was a cloudy day, with rain pouring down with varying intensity, thunder rumbled, and lightning flashed. Long ago, evening had arrived, turning to night, enveloping everything in darkness.
Sage—or rather, Shadow Milk—was sitting in his castle, writing letters to his students under the dim light of a lamp, a typical, dark end to the evening. Having finished the tasks for his young followers, Sage glanced out the window, which was covered in a steady rain. He noticed a dark, familiar figure standing in the downpour, umbrellaless and holding something...wait...Pure Vanilla?! Or maybe the Hermit...what was he doing there? Sage couldn't figure it out, but he couldn't let it go.
