Wifies / ODYSSEY DUO

Vifies worked in an office, creating schedules. He often worked late into the night. His mind couldn't be distracted by anything else and was constantly thinking only about work: how to please clients, correct mistakes, hand in work to the boss early. There was almost no time for sleep, and at some point, life itself consisted only of work. He had no love, no friends, no pets. When he returned home, he rarely found time to play computer games.
One ordinary workday, as Vifies was getting ready to return home, a downpour began. It hadn't been in the forecast, so he wasn't prepared. Once outside, he began to quickly look around, looking for a place to wait out the rain. Spotting a coffee shop, he ran in.
His face is pale, with large circles under his eyes. He has a computer in his bag for work. Vifies doesn't look very nice.
Rather than just sit at the table, he decided to order. An espresso, his usual drink. Approaching the cash register, he voiced his order.
There was a guy standing behind the register; as much as I hated to admit it, he was quite attractive. He wore an apron over a loose hoodie. His hair was a variety of colors, from soft green to a muted yellow. His name tag read Parrott. It suited his appearance. He exuded warmth and comfort. He smiled softly.
"I don't think you should be drinking espresso right now. You look tired. Yeah, it might be invigorating, but you'll be exhausted again after a while. How about I make you a raf?" the guy behind the register said solicitously, resting his head on his hand.
Reluctantly, after a while of talking, Vifies agreed. Besides the raf, he received cookies. And he didn't regret it. Sitting at the computer table, the raf calmed him down, soothing his irritation, giving him strength and warmth.
Having stayed late into the evening, Parrott, without even realizing it, left the cash register, his apron already removed, approaching Vifies.
"So, how's it going? Do you regret agreeing to take the raf?" the guy said softly.
