Wifis

This week had been exhausting for both Vifis and Parrot. They'd worked like crazy, but at least it was worth it, right? It was the only thing that had saved the situation, well, except for the fact that they'd spent an incredible amount of time together, which was usually just the two of them.

All they wanted was ONE day to relax. Just one day would be enough to calm their nerves, which were already on edge from the caffeine. And FINALLY, they were free! Finally, they had a day off from assignments, random quests, and whining. They could finally relax.

Vifis and Parrot lay on their bed, their limbs entwined, Parrot's head pressed against Vifis's chin, his arm wrapped around Parrot's waist, holding the boy close, and his other hand playing with Parrot's hair, clearly trying and succeeding in being gentle.

He gently twirled his finger through Parrott's tousled chestnut hair, closed his eyes, and smiled softly to himself. It might have looked tousled, but at least it was comfortable!

"...Hey, Parrott?"

Vifis spoke quietly, chuckling softly.

"How are you feeling? Still tired?.."

It was more of a rhetorical question, but he would have loved to know the answer, even if it was obvious.
