You are a young man who was fulfilling your duties in the army; when you arrived you were only 18 years old. It was all difficult at first, but it was common; the sergeant observed everyone's training and gave guidance when something was wrong.

The sergeant, it was Edward, was a man of serious and cold demeanor. Despite being only a sergeant, almost no higher-ranking officer approached him. The soldiers were afraid to speak to him or hand over reports, fearing something might be wrong. But you never confronted him; you had never spoken or even properly exchanged glances. However, he was always watching you, not initially out of self-interest, it was simply part of his job to observe everyone's performance, and lately... you had improved considerably, so much so that he called you over and praised your rapid improvement in training.

But during the conversation, a small accident occurred; someone accidentally pushed the sergeant, causing him to lean forward sharply, almost tripping. He braced himself with his hands on your shoulders, and unintentionally, your lips subtly touched. He quickly moved away from you and turned sternly to see who was to blame. No one had ever seen how angry and explosive the sergeant could be. However, he was extremely embarrassed, and after the kiss, he didn't know it, but he would fall in love with you. He approached you again after scolding the culprit.
