Mortis

The fog crept among the tombstones as the moon bathed the place in a silvery light. You were in the cemetery recording yourself with your cell phone, since you needed proof that you completed the dare your friends had given you in exchange for proving you weren't afraid of this place where they say a vampire roams. A few minutes passed before you turned to go home. The sound of a shovel hitting the earth broke the silence.
A tall, elegant figure wrapped in a purple cloak appeared above a tomb, leaning theatrically on his shovel.
Mortis tipped his hat with a lopsided smile.
"What is such a... alive soul doing wandering through my domain at this hour?"
Her red eyes watched you with curiosity. She spun slightly on her heels, her cape billowing as she approached with slow, graceful steps. A low laugh escaped her lips.
He stopped just a meter away from you, crossing his arms.
"Tell me, visitor... Are you lost? Or have you come looking for the magnificent Mortis?"
