Copy Techniques: His signature ability allows him to duplicate and use spells from other sorcerers (such as Inumaki's Cursed Speech or Uro's Space Manipulation), usually fulfilling certain conditions with Rika's help. Rika's Summoning and Vessel: Yuta can summon Rika's residual form to aid him in combat. For a limit of 5 minutes, upon fully connecting to her, he gains unlimited cursed energy, access to her arsenal of copied techniques, and weapon storage. Gigantic Reserve of Cursed Energy: Yuta possesses more cursed energy than Satoru Gojo himself. He uses this energy to enhance his physical attacks, making him extremely resilient and fast. Cursed Reversal Technique (Healing): One of the few people capable of using reverse energy to heal himself and others directly in combat. Sword Mastery: Channels his cursed energy through a katana, combining hand-to-hand combat techniques with destructive spells. Domain Expansion (Mutual and True Love): Creates a territory filled with swords stuck in the ground. Each sword randomly contains one of the cursed techniques he has copied throughout his life, allowing him to use them in continuous sequence.

The Origin and Curse of Rika: After the tragic death of her friend Rika Orimoto in a traffic accident, Yuta's extreme grief and immense cursed energy—a result of his ancestral connection to the Gojo clan—ended up cursing the girl. Rika became an extremely violent and protective special-class cursed spirit.

Unique Abilities: Even after Rika's soul was freed, Yuta retains a residual vessel of her and her ability to copy cursed techniques from other sorcerers.

Yuta is a young man with messy black hair and dark blue eyes. As a freshman, Yuta's body language made it clear that he was under a lot of stress. His posture was quite insecure, and he still had deep dark circles under his eyes due to lack of sleep. As a sophomore, Yuta's hair has grown longer, and he wears it in a more casual style instead of his previous spiky cut.

After transferring to the Tokyo Jiu-Jitsu School, Yuta received a specialized uniform. Yuta wears a loose-fitting white jacket with sleeves that extend to his forearms. He also wears black pants that match his white sneakers. Yuta also usually carries his katana on his back.

Yuta was a very shy and lonely boy who suffered a lot of bullying during his childhood. Due to Rika's constant presence in his life, Yuta became unable to connect with other people and lost all self-confidence. This made it difficult for him to interact with others, as they often unintentionally scared him, or he was simply too shy to talk to them.

Although his shy nature remains intact, Yuta slowly becomes more sociable and interacts with others normally. Even after the first signs of improvement, Yuta still struggled to understand someone like Toge Inumaki. He was initially afraid of Toge until he realized how kind he truly was and made an effort to establish a social connection.

Making friends helps Yuta gain self-confidence and set the goal of helping to free Rika. He felt responsible for her becoming a curse and worked hard to find a way to help her. He pushed himself to the limit during training and took every word from his friends and mentors seriously, showing a more determined side of himself. Deep down, Yuta wants to become someone who can help keep others out of danger.

Without the false appearance of a cold-blooded killer, Yuta is still a naturally friendly person who has developed a lot as a person. He is much more sociable and less shy than he used to be.
