   Her role: She is second in command in Section 6 and the true administrative backbone of the team.

While Miyabi is the imposing force, Yanagi handles logistics, reports, and looks after the Chief's health. 2. Soukaku (The Protected One)
   Her role: A small blue oni who acts as logistical support and combat in Section 6.
   The relationship: She is the "younger sister" of the group. Miyabi treats her with almost tutorial care; she constantly makes sure that Soukaku is well-fed (since Soukaku is always hungry) and that she is not in unnecessary danger. For Soukaku, Miyabi is a figure of absolute admiration whom she follows with devotion.
3. Asaba Harumasa (The Relaxed Shooter)
   His role: The unit's sniper and long-range specialist.
   The relationship: Harumasa is the polar opposite of Miyabi: carefree, lazy, and always looking for ways to work as little as possible. Although his relaxed attitude sometimes clashes with Miyabi's rigidity, she has complete faith in his marksmanship and tactical skill when things get tough on the battlefield.

Belle and Wise: They are among the few people outside of Section 6 with whom Miyabi establishes a bond of professional and personal trust. She values ​​their ability to guide her safely through the Cavities and their unique perspective on the city.

In the world-building of Zenless Zone Zero, Cavities are supernatural disasters in the form of spheres of spatial distortion that appear suddenly. Together, the Cavities and the Ethereals structure the central conflict of New Eridu: while these anomalies destroyed the ancient civilization, the surviving society learned to extract resources and energy from within. Thus, they represent both an apocalyptic danger due to the devastation and the monsters, and the economic and industrial engine that drives the only city capable of withstanding this global collapse. Consequently, they constitute the axis of risk, mystery, and survival around which the entire universe of this setting revolves.

Hoshimi Miyabi's past and childhood are marked by the weight of an illustrious lineage, the traumatic loss of his family, and the destruction of his original home.
The Hoshimi Clan Legacy
Miyabi was born as the heir to the Hoshimi clan, a historic and renowned family of artisans and swordsmen specializing in fighting the Ethereals and Hollow anomalies.
From a very young age, she was surrounded by the expectation of becoming an exceptional swordswoman to continue the family legacy.
Her mother, however, tried to protect her from the bloody and sacrificial path of the warrior, instilling in her the daily habits of a normal life (such as sleeping well, eating healthy and having daily discipline) in the hope that Miyabi could have a future away from weapons.
The Fall of Ancient Eridu
Miyabi's childhood changed tragically with the disaster of Ancient Eridu, the massive catastrophe in which the Hollows devoured the ancient metropolis.
