Fair and sincere Knight Dandelion, current Master of the Ordo Favonius.
I am Genie, Knight Dandelion, and I request permission to join your ranks. From this day forward, my honor and loyalty are yours!
Genie's favorite and least favorite foods
Favorite food: It feels like I haven't had pizza in forever.
"Cat's Tail." If only they had delivery...
Disliked food: A true knight cannot afford to be picky about food.
Monstadt 2
Mondstadt is a region where personal freedom and music are valued.
The region has its own traditions, such as the annual Ludi Harpastum festival (a festival of song, wine and flight).
Monstadt
It all began two thousand six hundred years ago. Back then, the region was under the rule of the Anemo Archon Decarabian (also known as the "Storm King"). He erected an impenetrable barrier around the city to protect the inhabitants from the bitter cold, but the people perceived this as tyranny—they were unable to leave the capital.
The people rebelled against Decarabian. The resistance was led by the Nameless Bard (whose spirit was inspired by an elemental spirit) and Amos (the Archon's former lover). Ultimately, Decarabian was overthrown, but the victory was hard-won—many perished in the battle.
After this, Andrius (the King of the North) abandoned his role as Archon and went to merge with the land. The new Anemo Archon was that same elemental spirit—the one who would later become Venti. He transformed the lands of Mondstadt, bringing them to the form we see today.
After some time, Barbatos abandoned the region, fearing he himself would become a tyrant like Decarabian. The city was then ruled by aristocrats. But over a thousand years, they became corrupted and became tyrants themselves.
Then Vennessa awoke. She led a new rebellion, overthrew the aristocracy, and founded the Order of the Knights of Favonius to prevent power from falling into the wrong hands again. Vennessa later ascended to Celestia. Four Guardians of the Winds were assembled to protect Mondstadt: the spirit of Andrius (Wolf of the North), the ascended Vennessa (Falcon of the West), Dwalin (Dragon of the East), and the current Knight of the Dandelion (Lion of the South).
Five hundred years ago, after the fall of the Kingdom of Khaenri'ach, Mondstadt was attacked by the black, serpentine dragon Durin. Barbatos summoned Dwalin, who defeated the enemy above the Dragonspine. However, Durin's poisonous blood poisoned Dwalin, causing him to fall into a deep slumber.
When the player first arrives in Mondstadt (in the prologue), the city faces a new threat. Dwalin has awakened, under the influence of the Order of the Abyss's poison, believing Barbatos and the people of Mondstadt to have betrayed him. The dragon has become known as the "Storm Terror."
The Traveler (or Traveler), along with Venti, Genie, and Diluc, travel to Dwalin's lair. They purify the dragon.
Genie's appearance
Height and build: tall, athletic girl.
Hair: light-colored, pulled back into a high ponytail with a black bow.
Eyes: blue-grey.
Skin: light.
And now about her outfit—it’s also thought out to the smallest detail and reflects her status as the current Master of the Ordo Favonius:
The base is a white, form-fitting jumpsuit, embroidered with gold symbols and diamond patterns along the legs.
Over this she wears a long blue tailcoat and a short black and gold cloak with a blue lining.
The outfit is completed with white boots, a black belt and black gloves.
On the left shoulder is the emblem of the order.
Her Anemo Vision is suspended from her belt on a gold chain.
In her hands is a silvery-blue sword. Its hilt (handle and guard) is shaped like outspread bird wings and decorated with a blue stone.
The design is rich in references: turquoise elements (stones, patterns) directly link the outfit to the Anemo element of Genie and the local dandelion flowers of Mondstadt. And the blue color in her image symbolizes intelligence, trust, and reliability.
Ordo Fovonius
The order's primary mission is to protect the city of Mondstadt and its surroundings, maintain order, and care for its residents. The name Ordo Favonius translates from Latin as "Order of the West Wind" (Favonius is the god of the west wind in Roman mythology). However, the order also includes non-knights: for example, Albedo is the chief alchemist and captain of the investigation team, and Lisa is the librarian.
The Order was founded by Vennessa nearly a thousand years ago. She led a rebellion against the tyranny of the aristocrats, liberated the citizens of Mondstadt, and created an organization that would continue to defend the city after her death. The Order's headquarters are located in Mondstadt, in the west of the city. Interestingly, this building once belonged to the aristocracy and was later rebuilt. The Order has a library, but most of it burned in the "Autumnal Fire"—the surviving books were moved to the lower section.
At the helm is the Order Master. Currently, this is Varka, who holds the title of Knight Borealis. Since he is frequently on expeditions (including to Nod's End, where the Order combats threats from the Abyss), his duties are temporarily being fulfilled by the current Master. This post has been filled by Jinn, who also holds the titles of Knight of the Dandelion and Knight of the Lion's Fang (Löwenzahn is "lion's fang" in German, meaning "dandelion").
There are ten of them in total. Each leads their own specialized squad. Among the famous captains are:
Keya is a cavalry captain;
Albedo is the chief alchemist and captain of the investigation team;
Eola is the captain of the reconnaissance squad;
Gerta is the coordinator and captain of the sixth company.
To join the order, one does not necessarily have to be a knight in the classical sense - the title is awarded for fulfilling one's duty.
Boiling
Varka is the current Grand Master of the Ordo Favonius and a Knight of the Borealis in Genshin Impact. He is considered one of the strongest fighters in Mondstadt and a legend of his generation.
Varka is a charismatic, straightforward, and cheerful leader with a sense of humor. He inspires those around him and often gives his colleagues space for independence, deliberately "stepping back" to allow them to grow. At the same time, he can be frivolous and enjoys a drink. He has a very high tolerance for alcohol, though it doesn't compare to the endurance of the Archons.
Despite his carefree nature, Varka possesses a strong sense of responsibility and knows when to take action seriously. He can be stern when necessary, as demonstrated in the scene at the Ordo Favonius fortress in Nod's End.
In fact, everything they tell about Varka is a fairy tale. Diluc believes Varka is an irresponsible slacker who promised to go on an expedition for three months but instead left for eight years, leaving the entire Ordo Fovonius in the fragile hands of Master Djinn. Even after his return, Varka hasn't become the least bit more responsible. While filling out paperwork—a mere pittance for Djinn's daily work—he constantly tries to escape from his office to get drunk, and his greatest fear is that Diluc will blacklist him from the distillery. As stated earlier, Varka left on an expedition for eight years, also taking all the horses from Monstadt, leaving Kaeya as a cavalry captain without any cavalry.
Genie
Jinn is from the ancient knightly line of Gunnhildr, one of the most respected clans in Mondstadt. Her mother, Frederica Gunnhildr, raised Jinn as the clan's heir and instilled in her the ideals of duty and service to the city. Jinn's father, Seamus Pegg, was an adventurer who later dedicated himself to the church. This combination of "knightly strictness" and "free spirit" has largely shaped Jinn's personality: she is extremely responsible, yet deeply values the freedom of Mondstadt.
From childhood, Jin was taught everything a true knight should know and do: fencing, etiquette, history, poetry, discipline. She was raised under the clan motto: "For Mondstadt, as always."
At just 15 years old, Jinn received the honorary title of Knight of the Dandelion. It is given to the most distinguished knight of the order and pays homage to Vennessa, the founder of the Ordo Favonius, who liberated Mondstadt from the oppression of the aristocracy. For Jinn, this title is not so much a reward as a reminder of her lofty mission: to protect the freedom of the city and its inhabitants. She often visits the Great Oak in the Valley of the Winds—a place associated with Vennessa—to gather her thoughts and strengthen her resolve.
Currently, Jinn is the acting Master of the Ordo Favonius, effectively leading the order in the absence of Master Varka, who has departed on a long campaign. All diplomatic, administrative, and combat matters fall on her shoulders: from pressure from Fatui to conspiracies of the Order of the Abyss and internal intrigues.
At the same time, Genie views her position not as a power, but as a duty. Her guiding principle is: "A knight's duty is to help those in need." The townspeople and knights alike have come to rely on her for everything, even minor everyday problems, and Genie never refuses. Because of this, she's constantly overloaded with work and, as Lisa jokes, drinks a month's worth of coffee in the first few days of the month.
Diluc believes that Jin's unparalleled sense of responsibility is the only reason she hasn't yet found her true calling, and that pointless assignments can become her worst enemy.
Lisa
Lisa Minchi is a graduate of Sumeru Academy. She is considered one of the most talented sorceresses of the last two centuries. After two years of training, she returned to Mondstadt for unknown reasons.
Lisa is currently the chief librarian of the Ordo Favonius. Her responsibilities include not only organizing the order's vast collection of books but also providing the knights with medicine.
An interesting fact: when the Grand Master offered her the position of captain of the 8th Company, Lisa politely declined. To resolve the dispute, they arranged a mock battle with the field commander, Nymph. After two minutes of combat, Lisa declared Nymph's abilities worthy of the position and declined the offer. Later, the Grand Master received letters from Nymph requesting the appointment of another captain, but Lisa always found an excuse to avoid the appointment.
Liza is a strange combination of contradictory traits. On the one hand, she possesses boundless erudition: she can decipher the most complex issues—from the forbidden knowledge of ancient civilizations to the principles of plant cultivation or wine distillation. On the other, she is noticeably lazy: she can often be found sleeping or drinking tea.
This laziness isn't just a character trait, but a consequence of inner fears. Lisa fears the destructive power of knowledge and the enormous responsibility that comes with it. She sincerely believes that every gift has its price, and the more valuable the gift of fate, the more one must give for it. This is precisely why she's wary of the Eyes of God: she believes that people will eventually pay for them, and this is another reason why she conserves her energy and tries to avoid unnecessary burdens.
Diluc says of Lisa: "I believe that Lisa can become the most trusted knight of the Ordo Fovonius... If she so desires."
Keya Alberich
As children, Kaeya and Diluc were very close—they were even called "twins": they understood each other without words and defended Mondstadt together. Kaeya was the adopted son of the Ragnvindr family (he was raised by Crepus, who also became a second father to him), and Diluc was Crepus's son. They practically grew up like brothers.
Tragedy became the turning point: the convoy Diluc was escorting was attacked by a monster. Crepus used the Eye of Corruption to protect his son, but the power turned against him. Diluc, trying to spare his father's suffering, took his life with his own hands. Kaeya was far away at the time and was unable to help in time.
After Crepus's death, Kaeya found himself in a profound internal conflict. He was torn between his duty to his biological father (who abandoned him for the mission) and to his adoptive father and Diluc. Conflicted by conflicting emotions (on the one hand, relief at not having to choose sides in a potential conflict, on the other, guilt for not sharing his brother's grief), Kaeya decided to tell Diluc the truth.
Kaeya confessed everything. Diluc was furious. The brothers drew their swords, this time against each other. At the moment of their clash, Kaeya's elemental power awakened for the first time, and he was granted the God's Eye. The clash of the elements (Keya's searingly cold energy and Diluc's flame) created a vortex that shook them both. Afterward, Diluc severed ties with Kaeya and the Ordo Favonius (which had concealed the true circumstances of Crepus's death). He left Mondstadt and wandered for a long time. Kaeya, however, remained in the order.
In Diluc's Legends quest "The Wise Owl," Kaeya, suspecting who the Midnight Hero is, tries to find out, but ultimately decides not to reveal the secret.
Despite their breakup, their paths crossed repeatedly, and something warm glimmered in these encounters. Kaeya and Diluc temporarily teamed up against the Fatui Harbinger Dottore, but later their paths diverged again. Diluc describes Kaeya as someone who can be half-trusted at best.
About Diluc
Diluc has his own reasons to be skeptical about
Ordo Favonius. I'm not proud of how things turned out, but I can't change the past.
All I can do is work harder so that one day he can see us in a better light... It's my duty.
Mr. Diluc is older than me, and I respect him very much. We just went our separate ways, but I feel like we both want to protect
Mondstadt at any cost.
Eye of God
If we talk only about fencing skills, then
Jin has long been one of the best swordswomen
Mondstadt. But deep down, Jinn believes she would be better off as a shield guarding freedom and song than as a sword piercing darkness and vice. Protecting is always harder than destroying. Her promotion from squad leader to temporary Order Master has presented her with enormous challenges.
With diplomatic pressure
With the Fatui outside and a handful of traitors—the former inspector's minions—recovering and bringing the situation under control was no easy task. But Jinn still managed to strengthen the authority of the Ordo Favonius, overcoming the foreign pressure and leading the knights in destroying numerous plots of the Order of the Abyss. The moment Jinn received her own Eye of God will never be forgotten. All around fell silent, and a breeze blew between her palms. The world lost its color, and only the ancient motto of the Gunnhildr clan rang in her head: "For Mondstadt, as always."

About character 4
The Great Tree in the Valley
The Winds were the final destination of the first Knight's journey.
Lion's Fang of Vennessa.
Having liberated Mondstadt from the oppression of the aristocrats and founded the Ordo Favonius, she came to this tree in the last days of her life.
Vennessa planted a sapling of the great oak tree in the Valley of the Winds as a farewell to the city she had sworn to protect.
After hundreds of years of enjoying the bliss of a thousand winds, the young tree grew into a huge, towering oak tree. Jinn received the title of Dandelion Knight when she was only 15 years old. This title is passed down from one Grand Master to another and is the title of the order's most distinguished knight. After the awards ceremony, Jinn excused herself and left the celebration. As if following in the footsteps of her childhood hero, she came to the great oak tree. The title of Dandelion Knight symbolizes fortitude and generosity.
Vennessa. But how did Jinn manage to earn such an honorable title? More than 500 years have passed since Mondstadt was rebuilt. How is she able to protect such an ancient piece of land, a symbol of pride and freedom? Beneath her seemingly mature façade, she was merely
An unprepared girl who had just undergone a knightly initiation. And until the winds dispelled her doubts and calmed her heart, all she had was an unwavering determination. "For Mondstadt, as always."
To be a warrior, kind and determined like Vennessa, and to fight for her people and freedom... This must be the essence of her motto. In her outwardly mature appearance, she was just
An unprepared girl who had just undergone a knightly initiation. And until the winds dispelled her doubts and calmed her heart, all she had was an unwavering determination. "For Mondstadt, as always."
To be a warrior, kind and determined, like Vennessa, and to fight for her people and freedom... This must be the essence of her clan's motto. To this day, Jinn comes to this tree to dispel the doubts in her heart and find new strength to move forward.
About character 3
Due to Jinn's immense service to the city, its residents often forget that she is merely the acting Master of the Order and reports to the Master. In truth, Jinn doesn't mind. The title of Acting Master of the Order in no way interferes with the fulfillment of her knightly duty. There are two reasons for Jinn's enthusiasm, honesty, and meticulousness: the first is her upbringing and education, which serve as the foundation of her knightly spirit. The second is
Varka, a free spirit
Knight Borealis, and, concurrently, the temporarily absent Master of the Ordo Favonius. "Master, I ask you to take your work seriously. All of Mondstadt looks up to you."
You're my second-in-command, Jinn, so helping me is part of your job. Thanks to you, I can focus on the "truly important things." - ... He's a knight of legends and conquests, and she's a defender of peace and freedom. Jinn holds no grudge against Varka; there may be some wisdom in his words. However, what Varka doesn't do falls on Jinn's shoulders. Six months ago, Varka led the elite knights of the Ordo Favonius on another expedition... Another adventure, in the spirit of Varka. - I'm leaving the entire city to you, Jinn. You've already done most of my work for years. - Leave it to me, Magister. Jinn saw the Magister and the knights off, sat by the window, and mused: "When you return, you will see a prosperous Mondstadt, full of love and goodness."
About character 2
"Master Jinn can always be relied upon." "If you ever need help, seek her out."
"Genie. She knows what to do."
Both the citizens of Mondstadt and the knights alike rely on the acting Master Djinn. Djinn never thinks twice before offering a helping hand.
Whether it's a dispute at the market, a relationship problem, or even something completely unrelated to a knight's work... Djinn is happy to help. "A knight's duty is to help those in need." For her, the duties of a knight are more important than her position as Master of the Order.
Her path is to help those in need. She demands the same approach to work from her knights.
One day Lisa suggested
Genie take a break and "have some afternoon tea like a proper lady."
But for Djinn, the duty of a knight
Always comes first. "Master Djinn can be relied upon." Such is the Djinn's reputation in
Mondstadt. The only thing that upsets her is the lack of hours in the day.
She can't help everyone in need, even if she gives up sleep. To earn that level of trust from people requires an incredible amount of determination and selflessness.
About character 1
The Gunnhildr clan is the oldest family in Mondstadt, with roots dating back to the time of the first epic.
However, such a rich lineage can be a heavy burden. Jinn was raised by her mother as the clan's heir, so from childhood she was trained in all the skills of a knight: from discipline, etiquette, behavior, history, and possibilities to fencing and physical training. All this was done so that Jinn could bear the mantle of Clan Gunnhildr and its motto:
"For Mondstadt, as always."
Once upon a time in Mondstadt
taverns said that "representatives of the clan
Gunnhildr learns to speak
"For Mondstadt, as always" before the word "Mama".
Looking up from her books and watching children her age run past her window with windmills in their hands, young Genie understood the meaning of this motto perfectly. Now, when she looks up from her pile of work and observes the younger generation
Mondstadt, running through
Past her window, holding windmills, current Master Genie doesn't regret the time spent upholding that motto: "You give everything you have to do the right thing, period."
About the character
The Knights of the Ordo Favonius are the main defenders
Mondstadt, they are the sword and shield of this city. The Order protects trade routes from monsters and wild animals, but its main duty is to maintain order in
Mondstadt. At least Mondstadt
and they call it the city of freedom, but freedom without any rules and control only gives rise to disorder and chaos.
The genie values freedom
Mondstadt more than anyone else, and she understands this principle.
That's why she's always diligent and hardworking, more rigorous than anyone else in terms of her work results. And she often uses up her monthly coffee quota at the beginning of the month without even realizing it.
