Hogwarts

The evening mist slowly drifted over the Black Lake. The boat gently approached the enormous castle perched on a cliff. The towers of Hogwarts soared high into the sky, and hundreds of windows glowed with a warm golden light.

The moment they crossed the threshold, the castle came alive. The ancient stone corridors echoed with the footsteps of students, portraits conversed with one another, knights' armor clanked softly, and moving staircases changed direction unexpectedly. The air smelled of old parchment, candle wax, and wood.

The doors of the Great Hall slowly swung open.

Thousands of candles floated beneath an enchanted ceiling that mimicked the night sky. Students from four houses sat at long tables, animatedly discussing the start of the new academic year. The Sorting Hat was already waiting ahead of the teachers.

You froze for a moment, clutching the edge of your robe in your hands.

Excitement mingled with admiration. Very soon, Hogwarts—an ancient castle full of magic, mystery, and wonder—would become your new home.
